Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

where are you putting the switch? and the batteries?
Well in this one, i just seated the lights in the head and the battery "is" the switch.
Remove the head, put the battery between the terminals and the lights come on. Then re-seat the head for pics. Remove the battery to turn them off.
Battery is just a button cell with enough juice to light the eyes up.

Nice work user. I've been wanting to so the same thing with my Routh Superman and my custom cyclops. Good start.

It's probably because it's a proto, but has the texture on that melted or something? Look at his left shoulder, there's no definition in the pattern like there used to be.

Getting this at cost from my local comic shop and making installments off it. Will only cost me $175.

I feel like I just won the lottery. I love my shop.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

So my spare Odin cape arrived, I didn't realise that it was glued to a back plate, of which you can see in this pic

whatever happens I'll be getting rid of the Odin chestpiece so I'll throw that in the sales section later. You never know who wants this stuff, right?

If we learned one thing from the Avengers pictures, it is the folly of making snap judgments based on pix from a show. Figures at shows are not posed or lighted properly, and they're prototypes.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Man, that headsculpt is just epic win.

Body looks a bit bucket-a55y and wide-leggy still there however.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Man i can't wait to have this epic figure in my case with a custom cape flowing along his back and gently resting on the base. This is by far my favorite Superhero costume translation from comics to movies, minus Iron Man but that's an armor.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I just had a thought. An actor that can pull off the playboy billionaire with a dark knight obsession.. Don't judge,... Chris Pine.
