I couldn't pull the trigger on a Man-Thing Comiquette on ebay when it was a buy it now for $350 + $25 shipping. I think SS still had a few left at full retail, but I felt like I'd gotten burned over-paying on another statue because I didn't research it enough. Thought these wouldn't be popular and I'd have plenty of chances in the future.

Passed on the Spider-man comiquette because I didn't like the sinewy Mcfarlane era physique or large eyes. Also, I was primarily focusing on female figures at the time. Had I given it more thought, I would have realized that there are very few iconic poses that work as statues. Hanging off the side of a wall slinging a web is about as good as it can ever get.

Was toying with ordering a second copy of Conan: The Prize when they were taking soooo long to sell out. I knew it was going to be lusted after once it was gone. Would have been nice to have that in reserve.

Had a chance to snag a Cap America PF with only minor flaws for $500. The new one is nice, but I still like the classic costume more.

I was there too, passed on the dio and I still don't regret it, I didn't pass on doom ex though, I never really regret my buy or not buy decision, I regret my sell decisions.

My biggest regret is canceling the Pumpkinhead maq all those many many years ago. It wasn't so much that I passed, but at the time I had Darkness 1:1 and Pumpkinhead on pre order together and could only get one. I would still make the same choice today, but I still drives me nutz I don't own that piece.

I saw one at a convention a few months ago. The guy wanted $5,000 for it.

Back in the day, I bought all of the Sideshow X-Files 1/6 figures....except Black Oil Krycek. Later I went to track one down, saw the $600+ prices, realized I couldn't afford it at eBay prices. Frustrated, I sold all the other figures on eBay but only got a fraction of what I originally paid.

I really wish I had one. That and the Graboid maquette are grails for me. At least I have the EX Predator maquette. That one's pretty cool.

Hell yeah it is! Not as accurate as some predator pieces out there, but it has always been my favorite.

EX Vampirella comiquette. It arrived with a chip in the base that looked like someone had tapped it with a nail. There was even a depression in the tissue paper. Everything else was perfect.

I got a replacement from Sideshow and the base was fine, but everything else was ****ed up. Exposed seam in the crack of her ***, lazy eyes, bats didn't fit in the base and left black marks on her thigh when I put them in.

Complained and was told there were none left. Only option was a full refund. Prices had already skyrocketed by that time (they only made 350). I begged for them to send back my first one, and obviously the answer was no.

I should have just paint matched the chip and sealed it with clear nail polish. Stupid, stupid mistake.

Did that one come as one solid piece or was the Vampirella statuette separate from the base?

I missed getting the grey Hulk vs Spidey EX by something like 45 seconds. I was super new to Sideshow then.

-- Cancelled Terminator 1:1 shiny bust because didn't want to pay 1k for TX. Tried to get Terminator PF instead but kept getting outbid at last moment. Ended up getting Cinemaquette endo and TX.
-- Sold Predator 1:4 to buy Cinemaquette Pred.
-- Cancelled Lurtz PF Ex after wife yelled at me for overbuying, so had to cut something. Picked up reg 2 yes ago for $700 after finally deciding to get back into the LotR line. Won't shed too many tears on that though I've been able to get all the other EX pieces at retail or lower except Berserker Ex which cost me $500 at the time. still haven't gotten Moira Orc though, and just put in PO for Sauron PF.
-- didn't pull trigger on Green Lantern PF EX because of concern over scale. Went on wait list after sell out but still hasn't converted. Have picked up one for safety at relatively low price. If WL ends up converting will be a bit of a conundrum but will figure it out.
-- should have picked up HT Whiplash and Sarah Connor when they were both sub-$200. Will swing around and grab at some point.

That's about all I can think of.
