Whoever said this would be $235 needs to be b**** slapped. I guess Robo won't ever be in my collection, $300 is a deal breaker for me.

Its pricey. But this is a must have figure. Right up there with 1989 Batman and Chris Reeves Superman. Imo. Can't wait to get this.

Agreed! This is an iconic figure. PO'd this and ED-209 thru' Urbansamurai. Now the wait begins...

I'd love to preorder them. As always that irrational fear of 'what if I somehow can't order them later' coming into play. I suppose I'm worried that the ebay route (on their actual release) will come out more expensive than if I pre-ordered them off Toys2 and by the time I realise that Toys2 will be out of them or will have upped the price. I'm also afraid to order from Toys2 because I have in the back of my mind 'what if I have to cancel' and I've already cancelled a heck of a lot of orders with them...to the point of embarrassment.

So far it seems that the reception of these figures in our country is lukewarm, while mechas, cyborgs, and robots are big here. The sad thing is that you could tell people wanted it but are taken aback by the price

I wouldn't bet on it. 2006 - 2014 and they still haven't done the sculpt for whatever reason.

I hear ya mate.

Getting in early is a blessing - & a curse sometimes. A blessing because you get to secure an early piece before the returns start happening (for whatever reason ), but a curse because you could possibly find a better deal down the track if you wait - could.

..& to the folks saying "..but how can you pass it's an iconic character?" - RoboCop's legendary status isn't in question here. It's the possibility that they'll release a non die-cast, sound chip(less) figure with a Murphy reveal face later on - yes, it's a possibility. They may solve the likeness issues down the track.. or they may not.

I just feel hasty if I jump on this one, that's all.

As others have mentioned now though - to put things into context, this release technically doesn't need to come with a reveal face anyway, seeing he exposed his face toward the last act of the film, & was pretty banged by then too.

I have a strong feeling we'll see a battle damaged version in the future, with the revealed face!

Yeah, their good. But it's been two years since I last ordered from them. If your going to SDCC, their always there and very friendly.
