Never noticed the eyes were so big on that mask on the proto pics. Too late to moan now. :(

How about adding a piece of plastic behind to reduce the size of the eyes from inside?

yeah but that will only impact the light coming through, the eye will still be huge

I dont know how this happened the eyes look so bad and HT had the 3d rendering to work from, how could the head turn out so bad?

I am still waiting on mine, but I have an idea that will at least fix the fact of seeing through the faceplate eye sockets to the inside light emitter. I will either lightly sand or paint the faceplate eyes from the back of the faceplate so that they have a frosted look that will still allow light through, but make the eyes illuminate evenly.

I have some other ideas on fixing the eye size, but will have to wait until I have this figure in hand to decide how I might do it.

I might look at trying to do something about it on my end as well, but like you, I'll need to wait until I get the figure in-hand, but...

I am sure someone will come up with a custom helmet.
... chances are, someone else will beat me to it, mass produce it, and sell it, and I'll probably gobble it up as well. :D

woah that mouth on the 7, geeze

I can actually live with the head (you can always stick an entire Mark VI head onto this figure pretty easily).

What I absolutely find unacceptable though are these large sections of incredibly soft rubber on the elbows, they look awful, but it's the longevity that I would worry about.
It's the softest rubber I've seen HT use on a IM figure.

They did a very poor job with this Rory. Makes the figure look like a plastic toy. Going to have to bend the arms in poses to make it look ok.:slap

If you look at the real suit there is a larger gold piece that extends up through the elbow which asthetically would have looked much better and hid the joint there.

I think Play Imaginative Mark VII got that piece right which makes the arms look more rounded and full.
