Such a warm feeling, seeing it in the box. COME ON OMG! Had this figure on PO for far too long.

looks awesome, looks like i'll be waking up to OMG's pics. Still a good 2 month away for me in the UK but knowing its out oversea's makes me happy lol. knowing it won't be longer than a 2 month wait. Much better than the agonizing wait for it to release overseas.

Ok, now I am getting excited again. This has been such a long wait I got bored checking the boards. I hope we do get this in June here in the U.S. I have this and the BD version on PO. I also have IM3 Tony Stark on PO, and looking at the armor helmet that comes with him, it looks like a Mark7 or Mark6 helmet. If its a Mark7 helmet, that will be so cool. Here are some pics. Maybe someone can tell the difference, and let me know what you think.

I also have IM3 Tony Stark on PO, and looking at the armor helmet that comes with him, it looks like a Mark7 or Mark6 helmet. If its a Mark7 helmet, that will be so cool. Here are some pics. Maybe someone can tell the difference, and let me know what you think.

The helmet in those pics has the chin "dimple," which the HT MkVII helmet does not appear to have. If it's the MkIV or MkVI helmet, then perhaps this is a solution to those who think the MkVII's eyes are too big and don't own previous marks to switch heads with.

Just checked the gallery on Sideshow's site. The VII does in fact have the "dimple." I'm thinking the included helmet is indeed from the Mark VII.

Internally Mk. 7's helmet will be different design-wise... As it lights up at the head and not the neck...I'm betting it's using one of the older Mk. (6 or 4).. Using a Mk.7 would be a welcome surprise...

The helmet in Mech Tony's proto pics could also be a placeholder. I can't remember when Tony is scheduled for shipment, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out what we'll get. In the meantime, I'm going to edit my edit (yo, Dogg, I heard...) -- I'm throwing in with the MkVII-internals-on-a-MKVI-frame helmet hopefuls.

Derailing the topic:
I wish Hot Toys would add Daft Punk to their music icons line or whatever it's called. It would be so cool to have Daft Punk standing in scale with an IM mark. I was thinking of going for Medi's Tron DP figures, but for some reason, Medi decided to make Guy as tall as Thomas. WTF?! Besides, their RL outfits are cooler. *sigh* Anyway...
