Can we try to avoid mid-October? That's my sons birthday.

I will be asking for a list of date conflicts from everyone, once I have filled the list. Hopefully there will be a weekend where nobody has a conflict. This could push to early 2014, if the end of 2013 doesn't work. That's just a random goal. Obviously we need to avoid the holidays.

Can you imagine the freaks at Rancho Obi Wan during Spooktacular?

Then we'd have to raid Sideshow and demand a tour! Granted, that's a long drive, but still...

It's pretty much only financially feasible for groups. If one or two people want a tour, it's $100 each. That's too much. But for a group of 12, it's much more reasonable...

Is that like a Fight Club "single serving" deal... I'm not saying I'm opposed to underground fighting clubs that turn into terrorist organizations. But, just want to be clear what I'm getting into

Don't know for sure if I can swing it, but I'd much rather drop money on seeing something like this than a convention where I'd just want to use that money to buy stuff from said convention

But maybe this could be my gateway drug in to a future Celebration

I'll probably take 16 names to get the ball rolling, seeing as we have several tentatives. Then I'll ask for date conflicts, and see if we can find common date options that work. If there are multiple date options without stated conflicts, I'll have people vote. Then people can research flights (NOT BOOK, just research), just to make sure it is financially do-able, before I ask people to commit. I'd say for 2013, we have a two-month window (mid-Sept to mid-Nov). It is probably best to avoid the holiday season. If we can't make that timeframe work, then I'll start looking at early 2014.

Got to go SW over ESB... that way if you only ever have one poster; it's the only one you'd need

And no body purchased yet, I'm thinking of the HT knock off that was on Cotswold; just hoping to hear an in-hand review before buying one.
