I think I'm going to cancel my regular edition and get Galactus instead. After playing with the Tamashii 3PO and I am sure an R2 is on the way, the PF threepio doesn't do it for me anymore. To be honest I only want R2 and his light up feature.

I like the weathered look as well.

I know. I actually prefer the clean droids and like the fact they come ready to display together, but on separate bases giving an option to display them individually as well. Sucks I missed out on these. Not sure what I was doing at the time because I believe I was in this hobby when these droids were introduced just didn't consider it enough at the time... Blastit! No way I'm paying $3,000 for it! Just like I want the Emna Frost Whit Queen comiquette I'm not going to pay $700 for her when I know she was $150 retail. That's just too crazy for me. Something's ill just never own I guess.
It's possible though for the electronics that you wouldn't be able to display the figures without being on the stands, so if you had the exclusive and wanted to display them next to each other then you wouldn't be able to do that and have them light up.

Of course not off the stands, but you can still display them separate from each other. At least that is my understanding...

The last two exclusives on eBay both sold for $1000. So you should definitely not pay $3,000. It looks like they will only cost about $200 more than retail.
In other news, these are not shipping in the next 30 days. Are we looking at May now?

Ok the bad news is the seller had lots of issues with SS QC coming in. SS did not have replacements for them as with all sold out rare statues. They only offer a small discount or refund. So the seller didn't have any choice if the statue comes damage. He/ she could not get replacements. I guess as picky collectors none of us would accept anything less then a new statue. So to be fair to the seller I can understand that. The good news is the seller was the a very honest seller who refunded me ASAP on the spot of my return email. In this case I'm dissapointed I didn't get the statue. But I really wanted to thank the seller for being so up front and honest. Again this has been months ago last summer. There was alot of risk on the line. I know we will all have mixed opinions. But to me I really would buy again form this person saying there's something I need again in the future. So dirty ewok is ok in my book. Over all we both learn from this and I do not blame the seller. I hope he/ she continues to be a such great person in the future.
or that seller knows they are currently being investigated and is refunding money so when the ***** hits the fan soon on them, they can 'show' how honest they are....
