I tried again with the TressFX, and the ponytail doesn't look as "wild" as it was before the first patch. Looks pretty good now, in fact... The FPS seems ok too (with a GTX 670).

I reached 95 % completion in the meantime.

Just finished the game and wow, what an awesome game.

Will definitely go back to complete the hidden tombs and collect more relics/documents.

just beat the game with 70% it sure was fun and worth goint the full 100%. one question though, when you jump back into the game using the continue on your save does the games still have the enemies coming at you or is it just take your time to complete what you missed?

There are still enemies in certain areas like mountain village and shantytown but i dont think they respawn once you kill them

I rented this last night and started playing it today. I'm not even that far and I already think it's a fantastic game. It seems like these games are getting more and more realistic.

Finished it last night, pretty fun game. I'm down for the next one.

If I have one complaint

Spoiler Spoiler:

This game deserves GOTY!

It seems that we are in the age of the adventure game, so I have this to say:

Seriously, Harrison Ford is getting older, and, if they could create a AAA title featuring Indy, it would be spectacular. Hell, I'd even take a game that was based on pre-existing stories (tell me you wouldn't like to run away from that boulder in a platforming level, duke it out with Mola Ram while suspended from a rickety old bridge, or, maybe, take on the German mechanic while Marion takes out the pilot ). ****, with the next gen on the way, if they ever did decide to make a game based on the films, they could probably seamlessly integrate scenes from the films in favor of rendered cutscenes.:lol

i really want this indy game more than anything after playing this. im hoping lucasarts/disney are taking note of tomb raider and uncharted and realise the potential of the indy franchise.

(short round as a bonus playable character anyone?)

thanks, good to know. though its not a dull game at all, no enemies takes most of the excitement from the game.......the bow was awesome.

Anybody interested in the Collectors Edition minus the game? You get everything (figure, map/poster, tin, soundtrack, patches, etc) plus a comic book from Best Buy. PM me.

They tried this before. The Indy game (The Infernal Machine) took note of Tomb Raider games. And it sucked. At least as far as I recall. I think I was turned off by the quirky controls, and the fact, I felt Lara just did it better.

I don't know but I can't wait to find out!!! I've always loved Tomb Raider games, ever since the first one on my original Playstation, but I'm super glad she's come back with a vengeance.

And I guarantee she'll be back. I don't know what the sales numbers are, but I'd love to know since It would be interesting, but this is one of the premiere titles of 2013 and definitely one of if not the best game of the year so far.

The sequel will definitely be on the next gen consoles. I'll probably be picking up a PS4 so I can't wait to see how much this games graphics can/will improve.

How nice is that comic book?

Yeah and can you imagine how nice her next outing will look on the upgraded hardware!!! I mean, this game visually blew me away, I can't imagine how a next gen Lara will look!!! :yess:

The comic is great, great art and it's a hardback comic book. It looks like a small book. Are you interested?
