Does anyone really need a $200.00 Greedo that looks better than in the movie? Not this cat! I'd rather HT keeps their powder dry for the heavy hitters.
The SSC Greedo is a great figure anyway - it's one of the three SSC figures I actually own. :lol

My only gripe is the track suit type material they used for his outfit.
I would've preferred the vinyl look his clothes had in the film.

Did I say something funny? :lol

I'm amazed we haven't had a ROTJ Stormtrooper yet. The first Stormie was very popular and holds a very good value on the secondary market, it's been over 2 years since the first and it'll need minimal adjustments. Surely a no-brainer for SS.

Yeah, will definitely be looking forward to another SS Stormtrooper.. I think I will need at least a couple of them for multiple displays..

Yeah, that was what I trying to say in that there's little point in a more detailed version of Greedo (or any other second/third-tier character like the bounty hunters) on the part of Hot Toys, since Sideshow's version is already great or will be good enough given the character's screen time (e.g., Dengar). That sort of detail and quality should be reserved for Vader, Boba Fett, main cast humans (one place I'd deviate from this is I would like to see HT Stormtroopers), etc.

Agreed, too, that Greedo's outfit is the only thing that might've been improved (not a fan of the polyester sheen) but Greedo is kind of a cheesy guy, so it still works for the figure, I think.

Is the future of the 1:6 scale line in doubt now?
Disney said there won't be any more Clone Wars TV show.
I wonder if they're rethinking the license all around?
Maybe with new owners, they need to make new deals for licenses?
Who know's maybe Disney doesn't like Hasbro,so maybe they'll lose the smaller scale figures, just speculating.
We haven't seen a new figure since the new Yoda figure.
We also haven't seen any thing new about the Vader and Malgus that were shown at SDCC.
Just something to ponder.

Mmmmm, Disney licences at the mo? Iron man and marvel in general and tron, both of which ht has done but sideshow also does marvel stuff.

I hope Ssc doesn't lose it's linence as although I love ht stuff it's too slow too limited and too expensive.

The Star Wars line would be like 6 Luke's and one stormie !!

Ssc are creeping up price wise but ht are as well.

Mmmmmmm

I hope we get more storm troopers.
I came into this late and the ebay prices for the old one's are...:monkey2

I need an army of them damn it.

Hot Toys' Howard Chan has said in an interview plans for the next Star Wars figures:

4.What's the next character next to Luke?
Howard : 2013 Anakin from Episode 3; 2014 Han Solo from Episode 4; the initial plan to release Padme in 2015 still in consideration.

5. Any plan to make 1/6 Star Wars vehicle?
X-wing?
Howard : Vehicles in Star Wars too big to be produced in 1/6 scale, will be developing in smaller scale.

Looks like I have a long wait for something I want from HT Star Wars.

Theed Padme would make a great figure, only if those lighted bells really light-up.

I'm in for Han... unless they use the Indy sculpt.

I could care less about Anakin. Especially now that the new sequels are coming, I feel I can separate myself even further from the PT.

"Like it almost never happened"

But I'm sure HT will do a fabulous job with Hayden, a switch out Sith head, and the mechanical arm.

Doubt there will be a fully charred body, but perhaps a third head.

I had hoped for a Bespin Han to go with Luke, especially since SSC's version is the one that need an update asap.
Not really sure about Anakin but i guess i'll brake and order it when final production pics are released.
Padmé, i'm definitely in. I'd love a Geonosis arena outfit but i'd settle for a Theed battle gear.
