Full sculpted makes a lot of sense for a cartoon inspired statue that is literally DOING the character as if they emerged in all their 3D glory. Mixed media makes more sense for the more real world piece for sure.

Yep, specially since there's certain animation things you cannot accomplish with mixed media...

His body harness could've been seperate? The trim on his boots and knickers made with faux fur....doable.
The only thing I don't like is his weird hairdo. I know it's accurate to thd cartoon but it's so very very ga y.

Well there are some ideas Jerry can come up with...look at his Zangief statue from the street fighter line,he is pretty much wearing an underwear and boots only,though the mixed media works great in my opinion.So there are some options

I like mixed media where appropriate (such as most Lotr PFs) but lets get real... He-Man is not really a candidate for "mixed media or fail".

To be honest I would have dug a bit of mixed media in this too.

The Conan PF looks brilliant and is a little similar. I think the additions of the MM really make a statue stand out.
