I haven't met any of the actors in person. I was at a Dr. Horrible panel at SDCC a couple years ago and everyone was there, but there was like 5,000 people there.

I did get to meet Joss 2 years ago at SDCC. I had tried to win raffle tickets for him for many years and finally got a winner, so he signed a couple books for me. I think there is a 100 person limit on his signings. It was only for a minute but he was nice and I asked if I could shake his hand and he said yeah sure lol.

Awesome story! :rock Thanks for sharing.

We got to meet the lovely and talented Morena Baccarin yesterday. That woman is amazing.

We got our photo with her first (I will get that up here later today I hope.) And then we got her autograph. She signed our Serenity print. At first I had said maybe she could just put Mei Mei on it, which she agreed to. Then, she thought maybe she would write something else, which in the end turned out to be the best thing ever. It is actually my favorite quote of hers from the movie. A quote I say to myself a lot. So I couldn't believe how awesome it was that she chose that one.

Her Q&A was great. She had some great stories. Best part was her calling Nathan and us getting to hear his personal voicemail. You think that guy is funny on tv? It's not just the writers. That guy is hilarious.

Anyways. Here's Serenity signed (and yes, I only took the photo of the signatures, I cut most of the print out). We have 2 left!!!!! What sucks is Summer was in Dallas in the summer and was a last second add in. So we missed her. But Morena has been there twice and I know they will get Summer back. So I am happy about that.

Meeting him twice, I can tell you he is worth the wait! You'll get to meet him. He will probably make rounds more often.

I once met James Marsters at an event realy nice guy,David Boreanaz not so much.

I just thought I'd let anybody know that the Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Book Convention (late may-early june) has Summer Glau AND David Boreanaz signed up for this year. This is REALLY rare for David.

Wife and I are definitely going. Maybe we'll see some of you guys and gals there.

Are. You. Freakin'. Kidding. Me? :thud:

Wow. I'll admit that this is one of the few times that I'm actually jealous of those going. Congrats, man. Keep us updated. No way I'll be able to go, but that doesn't mean I won't try. :lol

On a side note, I'm hoping Wizard World picks him up for a few more venues. I'd be a little surprised if he did just one. Normally, they always get a guest to do at least a few.

Man, just reading the announcement on Wizard World now. Didn't realize Philly was his hometown. This *may* be a one time kind of thing.

I'm sad again. :( :lol

New game plan. Somebody needs to fly me out there. :lol

Oh, I hear you. I woke my wife up yesterday with the news. I told her she was going to have a REALLY good day. :)

The tricky part now is to figure out what to get signed. :panic:

Morena Baccarin is a beautiful woman, but I confess I find her unusually long neck disturbing whenever watching Homeland.

I live less than an hour from Philly but have to say am not tempted in the slightest to drag myself out there to see David Boreanaz. The tales of his personality off-screen are off-putting. Same with Charisma Carpenter.

Regarding Morena: Wow, really? I don't know what to say to that. :dunnoI've met her. She is beautiful and very sweet.
What do you look like?:horror

I don't know about David, but I've met Charisma. She was great when I met her. Give them a shot. I'd rather try than regret not giving it a shot.

Touchy. I never claimed I'm a great beauty and I'm well aware Morena Baccarin may very well be considered one. So what?

She has a gorgeous face, and what seems to me an unusually long neck. In some cultures it makes a person even more attractive. To me the proportions seem off.

I don't collect autographs or personal memorabilia, so never meeting someone who happened to be an actor in a show I like, especially one who has nothing to interest me outside of his/her television character, would not fill me with regret. I'm content to keep the distance.
