lol, i dont want to rub salt in the wounds as id be pretty sad if the same thing happened to me, plus its not third party, i dont want to hate in Has/Tak, if it was a KO though then it might be a different story.

Thing is i could probably easily fix it since im handy with stuff like that, I can reduce a leader Prime to particles and put them back together in less than an hour, and ive done my fair share of successful scratchbuilding and modifying so id have no problem fixing it.
Id be more than willing to have a look and fix everyone elses, shame nobody except Neil (Soundwave) lives local cos id probably be able to fix the issue in a few minutes.

No, it just said they'd be all out by tomorrow and not to worry if you didn't get a shipping confirmation as they've not had time to do all of them.

It'll suck if there's any QC issues but Andy's customer service is top notch so there'll be no worries on getting a replacement if necessary.

Funnily enough I've just ordered the coins for Starscream & Red Alert off ebay....might as well have one for each of the new generation of Masterpieces in my collection

Cap is another great figure from HT, probably won't be my favorite Avenger when all's said & done but it's nice enough.

I'm starting proceedings with my card company to get the cash for Hawkeye back in the morning so I'll let you know how that goes.

Hey guys got Mp Soundwave in!! He is great EXCEPT mine came with a serious flaw. His left leg will not fully sit flat. It seems it was assembled wrong,maybe some screws were too tight Im not sure. I can force it to sit flat but it just springs back. So because of this he cannot stand Be sure to check urs out when u get him. Below r some pics i took...

DPrime, I managed to PO Quakewave through another store. Not perfect but he just looks too good. I think he's as good as we're going to get until Takara/Tomy decides to jump in. The review from the Captured Prey guy had me sold.

The most widespread QC issue that I've heard about with Soundwave is that he may have a scratch in the paintapps on his face. Some had this covered up with blobs of silver that really stand out. Hopefully that's the only issue that people will deal with, because it's at least easy to fix if you're a little bit handy.

Now for some Hasbro news. First, TRU exclusives that will come out during the summer period: MP Soundwave and Acidstorm(!). I'm starting to guess that Hasbro is not actually interested in re-releasing Starscream and Skywarp with the new molds.

Next, new FOC voyagers have been announced: Springer and Astrotrain! Springer has a pretty cool (unused) game design, but I have no idea what Astrotrain looks like. Here's hoping for some kickass voyager triplechangers.

Mines a dud too guys. Posted pics over at tfw2005. The cassette window is all scratched up. Looks like someone got a needle and went crazy. Also the hip ball joints are not on equally, so ive got 1 leg higher than the other and as a result he leans to the right. Mines from robot kingdom too. Contacted them already and was asked to provide pics. What's going on with Takara and their crappy QC?

Had a shipping notice from Kapow Toys today to say that mines shipped.

But also got home at lunchtime to find that Postman Pat had tried to deliver a parcel that needs signing for & was too big for the letterbox.

Wondering if they actually shipped him Yesterday & didn't send the notice.

Full report tomorrow after I get to the Post office to pick up whatever it is...stupid having to wait 24hrs before you go to collect rule!!!

A stupid question but do you guys think MP Prowl, Bluestreak & Smokescreen will all have the same mold and the only difference will be the paint just like Red Alert and Sideswipe did?

I'm asking coz I know they have subtle differences between them.

The diff in Red Alert and Sideswipe is not just the paint. That is why they have different MP designations!! There are slight differences in the molds (eg. tyres in robot mode, headsculpt, accessories).

Since Prowl, Smokescreen, and Bluestreak all have unique MP designations, there will be mold differences, not just straight repaints.

I thought that MP Skywarp / Screamer / T Cracker all had differences that went beyond the paint apps.

Pretty sure they had different heads didn't they?

Mine are all in storage so can't check.

Magnus was just a repaint & MP4 prime just came with the Trailer so not really sure how the numbering scheme went for early figures but after that they did just start designating them with the same number but a prefix (Black Prime & Rodimus were MP-01B & MP-09B for example & the Tiger Tracks yellow version of Sideswipe is just MP-12T)

So as Chockey mentioned I'd expect subtle differences between the Nissan triplets.

The Nissans all had a few differences.

On the toys,

Prowl = Lightbar

Smokescreen = Rear spoiler and a retooled front with a racing splitter ( I think that's what it's called )

Bluestreak = Prowl mold with no lightbar

Based on the changes Takara made to Red Alert I also expect some of the differences from the animation models to be worked in if possible,

Actually, there were quite a few subtle differences between Prowl and Bluestreak on the cartoon, which I'm almost certain the MP versions will have as well.

And Smokescreen was quite a bit different - the second season Autobots actually were a lot closer to the toy designs (hence why Red Alert was different as well).

Hasbro was quick with MP Soundwave. Acid Storm is a bit of a surprise... I wouldn't count out Starscream at some point, though. As for Skywarp, I will definitely get a Takara version if/when it comes out, just to be sure.

Man I hope my MP Soundwave (and Sideswipe) are alright. Still haven't come yet... probably tonight or tomorrow, though, I hope!
