DX Luke has two complete bodies with two PERS heads and and three display pieces. I know it was announced in 2011, but the preorder for it was in 2012. That only came in at 300 bucks.

How can anyone say THiS isn't the worst hot toys sculpt?!?! God it's so bad.

Seriously I think it looks great, I'm convinced those who say it's the worst HS ever or looks like someone else rather than RDJ etc etc are either genuinely blind, hating because they think it's cool or just trolling

Well Tommy, despite what mikericm might suggest, I am seriously not trolling you. Nor am I trying to sway your opinion, I mean...why would I? It would be impossible. Your opinion is your opinion and I respect that.

I am glad that folks here like the figure, but it's just not for me I am afraid. And one of the reasons for this is the headsculpt. It's certainly clear that it's meant to be RDJ, and there is a fair amount of him in there, but it is just 'off' enough for me to not want it...thinking that I would save my funds for the gold-on-red suit, if I bought any IM3 figures at all.

I think you may be slightly off the mark on this occasion Mike, I think that most Freaks here can have differing opinions and can discuss them, without too much hystrionic HooHaa.

Yeah, this RDJ is not INDY bad, in fact the profile looks really good! But then I see a shot like this:

and I think "Oh no! Riker's been assimilated by the BORG!"

The RDJ sculpt just looks too muscular. We're talking about a 40 something year old guy who's in excellent shape, but doesn't look like he's ready for his UFC debut.

Now that you mention it... Does look a bit like Frakes... after liposuction.

HS looks best from higher angle, I reckon. Not so surprisingly, that is the case with most of HT figures.

Listen to those who have quoted what I said I've got no problem if you think the sculpt is off, my problem isn't with you it's those who think it's so off they say it's the worst ever or that it doesn't look like RDJ at all

My comments weren't aimed at either side or any specific members. So please don't mistake my broad general statement of WHY CAN'T WE JUST ALL JUST GET ALONG, as a personal shot at any one particicular member. It honestly was not meant as that,

It was aimed at the mindset of anyone thinking their view is the only way to look at things. If you fall into that category, then I am sorry for singling you out. If you don't, then there is nothing to worry about

I can see a little of RDJ in the sculpt, but it could be a lot better, I'm sure it has already been posted but this pic shows how far off it is

Absolutely! I don't think it's perfect, but it has some good angles, hopefully more good ones than bad ones in-hand. I'm in the camp that thinks it's close enough to make me want it. The more I look at it the more my opinion is refined... maybe in a few weeks I'll fall on the other side of that line, who knows?

Hopefully the licensers ***** slap hot toys and make them do it again. I hope they don't approve it, i really do. But apparently someone, somewhere liked and approved indie, so who knows.
