Ok here are my two Red Skull and custom Johann Schmidt figures now:

I guess the body that I used for him is a little taller, but since I shot this from a higher angle, the difference in height looks even greater. Schmidt was definitely looking like a flasher when he didn't have any clothes underneath the jacket. I think he looks much better with the cheap outfit that I got off of Ebay underneath...even though you hardly see any of it.

They look really great. He does look a little taller but that's only a problem in the pictures where they are together.

I finally ordered this! had a couple reward points from Alter Ego and they only had one left so decided to finally pull the trigger! Won't get it til after Christmas for sure but cannot wait to finally have him next to my Cap

Also decided against getting Avengers Cap. Can't afford him so just nabbing the unmasked head and BD shield whenever he goes up at TA or Monkey Depot

Sorry to be bringing up this older thread but I just got this figure in (late graduation present) and I must say I am pretty surprised and blown away by how great it is in hand.

From pics while it still looked great I could see how some might of thought this Weaving sculpt was a soft sculpt but in hand man so much detail with some great paint work. I'm very impressed by this. Only thing is I think the Red Skull sculpt is a bit too dark so I'm going to repaint it with a light redder paint paint, otherwise it looks amazing!

PS: you guys were right, the coat was a huge pain in the *** to get on

I thought the overcoat was pretty easy actually. All you need to do is put the underjacket sleeves through the overcoat arms and then pull everything on pretty tight over the figure's arms.

Sorry I meant the belt. Dunno why I just said the whole jacket lol but yea it was relatively easy until I got to trying to put he belt on. Kept popping off for awhile.

What does everyone think of this figure. Is it a must have to go with cap or should I just get Avengers Cap and leave Skull alone? Can't really decide.

Forget the avengers cap. This is hands down, one of the best figures HT have released.
And due to the other hands it comes with and the other jacket and head sculpt, you only need to pick up another body to have another figure there.

I actually boought all my parts loose and have them both on DiD bodies.
But the original body is a really skinny one.

No worries.
I have mine standing in the same poses all the time on stands, so it's not an issue to not have accurate underbodies on mine.

I was swapping heads today and when I did the piece that attaches to the head stayed connected to the body. I tried to get it off but no luck. The Hugo head had the piece already in place and I destroyed the piece getting it off. I was able to get the Hugo head on but disappointed this happened. Anyone else have this problem?
