what was so bad about the Medicom version?

Weak portrait, no accessories and it cost $200.

I think the likeness was there just not enough detail (as usual with medicom save a few recent releases) then there's the eh paint job. Best part about that figure was the outfit and the glasses

Hopefully they will revisit Edward Scissorhands with a better likeness but really interested to see the full reveal on this.

HT is always upping themselves so I cant see how they would rest with that terrible un-likeness of Depp Scissorhands!

Crane will look great I'm sure....but I just have no interest in anyone outside of the horseman from this license.

Still looking forward to this Depp representation and how well HT pulls off the likeness. Depp is someone they consistently seem to get right.

One thing that I'm not liking already, are those hands.

Once again, they appear to be too smooth, with no texture whatsoever.

They did this with the DX Jack Sparrow figure.
