Hey guys,

been gone a long time, just some height comparison with Bespin Luke. Vader is taller but still not tall enough.

I figured as much. Luke is probably a hair too tall but Vader should have more girth and the helmet doesn't even look like Luke's head would fit inside.

Any chance, for scale comparison, that we can see a picture of the Medi-Vader head next to the HT Vader/Luke ex. head?

My Luke doesn't arrive until tomorrow, but here is a comparison picture of Vader with Sideshow Boba Fett (on a TT Slim).

My 2 cents, Vader 2.0 is still out of scale, but damn if this isn't the coolest Vader I've ever had in hand! The LED lightsaber is amazing in-hand (even if the blade is too thick), but take a look at my non-flash picture below, there is ZERO photo manipulation with the lightsaber, it really is that bright.

Medicom and Sideshow both have their own problems, but this 2.0 is what is going to be in my display. Maybe the Sideshow 2.0 will finally be the perfect Vader, but I doubt it.

very nice.. how's works the lightsaber? I mean: where are the batteries?

There are 3 small button cells in the hilt of the blade, you unscrew the hilt slightly to turn the light on or off. It is a great design.

It would. His hair isnt sculpted in real life. :p

I like Medi vader.

It wouldn't. Even with the hair piece removed, you can't fit the Luke head into the Medi.

Vader 2.0 is so undersized it's funny. When you see the anakin head inside, the size of the head is like a small boy.

Also, Vader 2.0 is the same height as most HT fig but the body is so thin.

I just tried putting the helmet on without the hair piece & well, it can be done.

But u cant put the hair piece on in the unmasked look though. This is due to the back of the helmet which prevents the hair piece from fitting perfectly & it makes Luke looks like a Justin Bieber wannabe.

Damn, your lightsaber is so much brighter than mine, Guess I gotta change the batteries.

I'm with you on this being the coolest Vader though. Scale is not a problem for me since I collect mainly Medicom figures & he goes well with my other Medi SW figures.

Boba Fett is oversized actually. I own the headsculpt lose, and it's by far too big. I like it, but it's so huge. It looks silly next to the emperor IMO. And the picture of the Luke sculpt with Medi Vader helmet proves he's in scale. All you need to do it swap his body, but I'm not sure his suit can handle the tear, its probably a too narrow fit.

Not really... the DX sculpt fitting in a mask w/o the back or top of the head would indicate the mask is too small. Not to mention David Prowse was a much larger person (and had a larger head) than Mark Hammil.
