While we're talking about favorite moments/quotes...

...one of mine is when Hulk says, "That's my secret Cap. I'm always angry" and all the way until you see the whole team standing in a circular pattern, camera pans around each one. :yess:

I swear, when Banner changes at will, I got chills. :clap

I love that shot that pans around the whole team.

My other favorite one is the linking shots between members (the one that had Iron Man fly in and shooting his repulsors at Cap's shield, which then is deflected into the Chitauri soldiers)

Just a full minute of awesomeness

I keep trying to puzzle out why The Hulk goes after Black Widow on the helicarrier. Banner is clearly in some type of control and The Hulk doesn't seem at odds with any of the Avengers.

The only thing that makes sense is that he was basically under the control of Loki at that point. It seems like the staff, even if not directly controlling people has the ability to more subtly influence emotions. Banner holding the staff I think is probably what tipped him over the edge?

Wasn't this explained already? It was noted that because Banner tried to "fight"/hold that transformation that Hulk was uncontrollable and pure rage and would attack anyone in is path (as he did... Black Widow, Thor and F22). When Banner embraces him and transform in the Hulk at his own will he can control it. Sounds about right to me.

If by explained you mean in this thread then I missed it. The explanation though kinda doesn't track with the "I'm always angry" line. I think it's that he and everyone else where under the sway of Loki. The anger is incidental.

The scene where Loki is being escorted into the helicarrier, he looks at Banner and give a slight nod. Banner then kinda squints and grabs the bridge of his nose as if he has a head ache of some sorts. I think that is the point in which Loki's gets into Banner's head.

And then everybody started arguing because of Loki's scepter.

That what I took from everything

^Me too. Perhaps Banner was being manipulated by Loki similar to how Dr. Selvig was at the end of Thor.

Iron Man and Hulk made that movie for me. I watched again yesterday and I was blown away by the scenes involving the two.

Agreed! Those 2 were awesome! :hi5:

My favorite scene in the movie! This and the Hulk punching Thor a short time after. :lol

Hmm? Didn't give that much thought before. I think you may be right.

That's what I thought, too. Banner also had a few small facial twitches when Loki saw him, and this happened during the argument scene too - something was definitely working on everyone. That entire scene was awesome, I liked when Cap said "Stark, one more word..." and then Tony replies, "Verbal threat! I feel threatened!"

:lecture Even Tony knows he can't shut up. :lol
