I would agree, Thor is by far the worst. Not neccesarilly because of the head, which isn't super great but decent enough, but because of the weird oversized arms and the overall small-headed portions.

Im still hoping for removable sleeves to solve the first problem

if not, ah well, still looks like the best avengers team I can display on my shelf :yess:

Oh yeah, it's clear that no matter what reference pic you use (promo or screen capture) the HT Hulk is just too tall. As Wor-Gar said hopefully he can at least crouch enough to diminish that fact as much as possible.

Nah, if anything he's probably a little on the small size. Hulk was BIG!

I could be wrong but isn't Avengers Hulk a bit under 8 foot tall? Like 7'10" or something? I remember that being said somewhere before the movie came out and some people being upset by it for some reason that I do not understand.

Find me one screenshot from the movie where he's anywhere close to the size that Hot Toys has him. Look at Hulk compared to Black Widow in the movie versus the figure.

I think the pic is a bit deceiving too since it is angled. Look how high Hulk's feet are in the pic compared to the others. If my PS skills were a bit better, I'd tweak this pic so they are all actually evened up the feet...

Sallah

Hulk looks like he's standing straight up in that group pic.
When hunched over, he'll be perfect, at least to my liking.

I have a problem. So I will probably end up having an Avengers 2 shelf. :yess:

As will I. I don't mind making room for more! :wink1:

I can understand wanting the Hulk to look like he did in a prior film if that's your thing but the simple fact of the matter is this is supposed to be a 1/6 scale Hulk as he appeared in The Avengers. The end. Not a King Kong super sized edition for a higher price, not Ang Lee, just Avengers.

I don't believe that Marvel considers the Universal Studios Ang Lee Hulk to be canon anyway. They reshot an abridged "origin" in the credits of TIH and recast every last character to show that they were essentially rebooting the franchise under the new "Marvel Studios Universe."

The Ang Lee Hulk was crap. I'm so glad Marvel Studios took him back. I'd like to forget that "Hulk" nightmare! :slap

9 * 12 / 6 = 18

Sounds pretty close to me...

I think you may be right.

We better start saving up :panic: :panic:

I know they announced that they'd only be doing five films between now and Avengers 2, and they have now announced all five (IM3, Thor2, Cap2, GoG, and Ant-Man) but I still hold out hope they'll squeeze in the Hulk somewhere. Hell I'd just be happy if they manage to squeeze him into one of those five films in some significant way.

I never really liked the solo Hulk films, but id actually like to see more of Ruffalo banner
without having to wait until 2015 :gah:

:exactly: :impatient:

Waiting until after Avengers 2 is much too long a wait.

Well, as much as I'd like to see it, in an interview back in April, the outlook wasn't so bright. I haven't seen anything to know if Feige has changed his mind.
Mike Ryan: I know that the two Hulk movies were disappointing financially compared to the other Marvel movies, but is there any part of you thinking, maybe we can give another Hulk movie a shot?

Kevin Feige: Well, no. This was the other shot. Right? I mean, this was the third appearance of Hulk and everything that we had and were going for, we put in to Hulk’s appearance in “Avengers.” So, I love that people are saying that and are feeling that way about Hulk, but mission accomplished at this point. And the way we go forward, we’ll see. But it was a long road to get to this point. Although, I will say, after the screening, I heard various arguments over who was their favorite. Which is my favorite thing: Arguing what was the favorite moment or character. And the fact that so many of them are saying Hulk feels very, very good. Where we go next, we’ll see. But we’ll be very careful about it and deliberate — as we were in how we wanted to bring him back in “Avengers.”

I'd love to see him a lot in IM3 but I'm pretty sure he's not in it at all, which kinda sucks. That last scene in Avengers of them driving off together had so much promise. I'm sure we'll see Banner and Stark hanging out a bunch in Avengers 2, but still.

I think that after much deliberation, including realizing where their mistakes were for the last two Hulk films (most people who've seen them know - actors weren't a perfect match for Banner, when the first one had too much artsy stuff going on, the second had less character development), Marvel may just reconsider releasing a new one. But that decision's probably not going to be made for a while.

You're probably right. Which sucks for us Hulk fans. :monkey2

I'm not even a Hulk fan. I've never really been into the character… but Ruffalo and the depiction of The Hulk in Avengers made me a Hulk fan. Made me finally get around to reading Hulk Grey as well, which is quite good and has beautiful Tim Sale artwork.
