VERY nice, Roberto!:clap:clap:clap
I thought about doing something like that on mine, but with a much smaller footprint. Where did you get that jacket?? I want one! :D
Awesome job, buddy! THe only thing I would change is the color of the sand/rocks..it's a bit too white. Looks like Ice rocks and snow. I would have done in a more desert sand color...light beige/camel...like the color of the base it comes with him, maybe a little lighter. That's the color I plan when doing mine...

Thanks Cap, appreciate the feedback :wave The shirt/jacket was especially made for me by someone who wants to remain anonymous. He is a friend of mine that specializes in clothes, tailoring, etc...i wasnt planning to display him with a shirt/jacket as he did'nt spend much time in the film wearing one - but the joints were really beginning to fustrate me, especially the elbows as you cant really cover them up with anything other than what could be a bandage - but then he didnt really get his arm injured in the movie so that was a no no. I calculated the measurements and got the shirt/jacket made to spec...i was very surprised to see it turn out as good as it did! :yess: In regards to the sand terrain Cap, i can see where your coming from mate. However, it was a personal choice to go with the whiter desert theme, especially after hours of research on the internet of different sand terrain in the middle east and also watching the Rambo III movie over and over. The pictures may show it to be whiter than what it is due to the lighting but i can assure you it does have a more beigy tint to it :) It helped alot doing the research and if you look closely at the movie, there are sightings of whitish mountains and sands that are similiar to that of what i used...but i think its all personal preference. Although be careful when choosing the sand as you want to avoid the "Rambo at the Beach" look by choosing a more natural looking sand effect...this was also part of the reason why i went for the whiter sand, and it also compliments the weathering on the clothes perfectly. Really looking forward to all your Rambo displays...hope my display has shown what can be achieved if you really put your mind to it :clap

some more pics guys, including this early production pic as i began to build up the rock diorama...

and then some pics of the completed look...

however, i have since removed the rocket launcher in the background and also the utility bag which has some rope attached to it, which they used in the movie to get in/out the cave

and then the final display which i was really happy with...can't believe this has taken a month from start to finish! Still have to complete my Filmation He-Man Masters of the Universe 1/6 scale diorama next with a Castle Greyskull background! Sheesh! :slap

Display looks great, you really captured the look of the terrain from the movie wonderfully.

Thanks MaulFan for your supporting comments. As i was explaining to Cap earlier, choosing the right terrain was a careful decision and took a bit of research as there are many shades of sand you can purchase, especially in aquatic fish stores and i didnt want to just choose the classic natural beach sand as that would look inaccurate. Whichever sand one chooses for their Rambo III display its imperative that the rock background blends in with the terrain. The rocks were literaly purchased as i found them and then fitted together like a jigsaw if you like to create a rocky-based scene....i'm really looking forward to seeing some quality displays from you guys as i'm hoping my display has shown some of you how versitile this figure is and how much you can get out of it by simply adding a background to it or customising it to how you want it to look.

Now all i wish was that i had your camera and photography skills so i could take some killer pics as the ones i have taken really do not do it justice as i woud love to show some more close up pics of the weathering and the added on stubble...:wave

Incredible!
Nailed it again. You have the best Enterbay HD Masterpiece figures displays I've seen to date.
First T-800 & now this! You are a genius, sir.

Don't get me wrong, buddy...still looks AWESOME, Roberto, and I said that to you. But like you said, it's all preference about the sand color. ;)
I will do mine darker, to look like the pictures bellow.

BTW, ask your friend to make a small run of these jackets, pretty please!

That is very kind of you Sined, I really appreciate your thoughts and am glad you enjoy my displays as much as I have enjoyed making them. Thanks again :clap

Dio looks fantastic. I'd be interested in a jacket if someone is making them. Also, where did you get the Harley for the Terminator. I've been thinking about picking up the Battle Damaged version when released.

Thanks Nexus, the Harley 1/4 scale radio controlled bike was purchased off eBay but as I understand is quite hard to get hold of, especially already customised in black as mine was...definitely going to purchase the battle damaged version when it's released! :yess:

Hey guys, managed to fit in some lights last night, similar to those used for my T2 display. I have to say that in person the lighting effect when combined with the deep black acrylic background is spectacular and creates a very eerie atmosphere that i wasnt expecting...with that said, if i can find a light source that can give off a more yellow tinge (to represent the desert sunlight) then i think i could achieve that perfect look as the bluey white LED's i have used are not the right colour for desert lighting...here is a pic of how it stands at the moment with the temporary lights

sorry for the poor picture quality, it really doesnt do the display any justice and a new camera is on Santa's Christmas wishlist....along with the Hulk Maquette, Galactus Maquette, Batman PF, R2D2/C-3PO PF, Iron Man Mark VI 1:1 Bust, Iron Man LSB and the Hot Toys 1/6 1989 Batmobile which have all been PO'd this year :yess: Thanks Santa! :yess:

Thanks Nightsurf, glad you like it bro! Have ordered some new LED's which have a warmer colour to them so to recreate a better desert environment. Will take more pics once I have installed the new lights. What's the situation with your Rambo replacement?
