I don't believe he is implying people are being false. Its more a glass half full or half empty reference. Only focusing on the problems of the figure instead of talking about some of its strong suit is all.

But them again, I have no idea.

In my very first post after receiving them I commented on how amazing the sculpts are. Simply gorgeous. But it ended there because I have nothing else good to say. I really wish I did.

I'm actually going to see what it takes to return them. My experience isn't as bad as lots of folks are reporting, but given the price on these I am just not feeling it. Since they have the license, maybe EB will release MiB at 1:4 scale and do a better job.

This is what I've done with mine. Still a wip. Got a bag coming and I'm hoping to find a dog and better trousers. He's on an HT Advanced body.

Not bad, there seems to be an awful lot of giraffe neck going on though, which is odd considering the Advanced has higher clavicles than the Narrow TT's do. I saw one in this thread that utilised the lower body from the Advanced and the upper body from the RM-6 and that did look nice.

Biggest mistake EB made was to use a brand new untested body, the RM-4 would have been fine and the MIBs would have gotten good grades. These RM-6s are not muscular or tall enough for their up coming Kobe or Jordan (both 6'6") so there will be yet another new body to toss around. Unless they discount them severely at initial launch, I will likely wait for first batch review...

Why is it so hard to develop a body though, it's not rocket science? I have recently gotten a HT clone and an Artfigure The King body, both are decent quality and compatible with HT. I still don't get why the industry need to be so fragmented with all the different neck/wrist/feet joints, the differentiation should be on body shape, height, build, color, etc.

I hear you, they could have gone with RM-4's and still have met the release date.

These arrived yesterday. At first glance not as bad as feared but not as great as hoped. Headsculpts are absolutely amazing and that's pretty much where it ends -- bodies pale in comparison to HT (which is mind-boggling considering EB has a template to mimic and improve upon so no reason for them to come up with a substandard body if they plan to compete) legs are weak, arms are very, very tight, suit tailoring is so-so. And then there is the comparable size. IMO it would have been smarter for them to mimic HT scale so it would be easy for people to interchange with minimal modding rather than stick with their own--I know some folks will disagree, but just like VHS vs. Beta and Blu Ray vs. HD-DVD, sometimes it's better to fold. I probably won't be sending back given the shipping, but might sell on ebay, or might keep, haven't decided. I will probably not be pre-ordering any more 1:6 from EB regardless of how good protos look, but will instead wait for in-hand reviews.
Coincidently I did get the 1:4 Rambo yesterday as well. Haven't fully gone over this yet, but it seems to be a better at bat.

If you want to get rid of the HS's and gear via a WTS in the market on here I'm certain you'd get takers.

Went over mine today with more scrutiny. J is worse than K, but K is still unacceptable. J has a glue like residue on his sunglasses, weak knees, ill fitting suit, stray paint on Frank. K has weak knees, although better than J. Almost acceptable really, but since he is also missing some buttons on his shirt, and redder than he ought to be, I think its just time for a full replacement on the two of them. At half their asking price, they would probably be acceptable, but Enterbay knew this first batch was flawed and that just isn't acceptable to send to buyers at the asking price. So they can replace mine or feel the wrath of Paypal.

Dear oh dear, it's really bad also that you're not in a minority. I spent enough on my Respect Scarface and got lucky that, when they eventually sent the right figure (having initially sent me the War by mistake), it was a really good one.

Well I decided to have a closer look now that I had some free time. Worse than I initially thought. I took K's jacket off the get a better feel for the arms and see what was going on. They actually were backwards. Got one to move with a little force but the other did not wanna budge. On top of the frayed tie, which looks worse with the jacket off, the inside sleeve of the jacket is frayed and the shirt is missing at least two buttons. Add to that whatever holds the jacket closed isn't there anymore. I didn't even bother looking at J more thoroughly. Didn't wan more disappointment.

At this point I will not even accept an exchange. I am going after a full refund. Even how much I wanted these this whole experience with EB has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't blame you. Something told me not to go for these, and now I'm glad I didn't.

Well, I'm in the minority, but I'm really glad I bought these. They're gorgeous and the Headsculpts really stand out next to my Hot Toys as being of a higher calibre.

I was lucky. Even my knees were acceptable. Maybe I was the only one on this whole thread? Jeez...

Maybe cause you're 'A Nice Man'. :monkey1

What shoes are you using on this?

Mine showed up today...thankfully they were in pretty good shape except for the crappy bodies with weak hips, knees & ankles...they suck. Moved them over to HT TT narrow shoulder bodies. At least they can stand on their own. I popped out their neck plug & glued the HT neck adapter in its' place.

I'll never buy another 1/6 scale figure from Enterbay ever again.

The head sculpts are great (TLJ is the best I've seen) & it goes downhill from there. Suits are only ok with fair tailoring & mediocre stitching. Weapons are actually not that bad, they don't seem that much different from various HT accessories I've seen. TLJ has a big assed head & long neck compared to WS...but I believe that's true in real life.

Not bad, but not great. I feel for everyone who has more substantial issues than me.

Just got mine today - I didn't know about the extra weapons and the letters decal sheet with the 2 set - so that was a surprise bonus. I like the weapons a lot - If they made them out of metal they might have more heft and more shine - but I think the chrome looks fine. Not sure what people are complaining about there.

The portraits are amazing and painted superbly - definitely HT or beyond quality there.

As for the bodies - the arms were misaligned, but I didn't have to remove the suit to get them turned around - a matter of a couple of seconds - the elbow joint is easy to feel and adjust under the clothes.

As for the legs - they appear to on a rachet that only has one setting - so if they aren't locked completely straight they are a bit loosey goosey. That's what stands are for I guess.

I'm not a big fan of the EB stands - never have been. Although they're metal I don't really understand why they use this design - it doesn't make a lot of sense.

But the most important thing and the one thing that has kept me away from EB in the past - SCALE! I was all ready to sing their praises after comparing them to my EB Jack Bauer. They're at least an inch taller than the Medicom scale Bauer. However comparing them to other HT figures - they are too tall. Not that EB has to base anything they do on another company - but I won't buy EB figures that won't fit in with my HT dominant collection. They could use these bodies for the NBA figures they're doing without much adjustment.

I don't regret the purchase though - EB is definitely playing with the big boys now. But I'd like to see anything they do in the future be more in scale with the industry standard.

Sorry to hear you dropped almost $400 for such crap bodies...they sound bad..you had to replace them with HT bodies..wow. Almost got excited by the great sculpts and pre ordered but didn't. Glad I made that decision. EB has a ways to go now on 1/6...I have the 1/4 T 800 and am pretty pleased how great he is.

Here's a shot of the WS body vs the TT. With the long pegs they're about the same (check the neck peg height)...one thing that makes the MIB figures taller is they have foot lift pads inside the shoes...taking them out might help a bit.

How are the Enterbay MiB figures too tall when they sound to be actually properly scaled? If anything, the problem is that Medicom and Hot Toys figures tend to be too short in comparison to how tall the actor or actress would actually be at 1/6 their size.

Thats how I feel. If you look at the torsos you can see that HT's is really too short when compared to a human. HT's are also really pretty short for being 1/6. Captain America is 11.75" with boots and helmet.

The EB bodies do seem a bit better proportioned overall...however...it's all for nothing if the joints are loose & can't stand on their own. When it's laying flat on the ground it's always out of scale. :D

I did a little experiment to compare. I laid both bodies flat on their backs & picked them up by the waist. The HT bodies legs stayed in place....the EB bodies legs fell limp like a marionette. Not good. The knees are the biggest culprits, followed by the hips and then the ankles, though they seem ok by comparison but its hard to tell since the knees give out so easy. As Dave mentioned, they have ratchets but they're very loose. One knee I could feel the locking points & the other was like they weren't even there.

I will say that now that I've swapped bodies & put them on the shelf in their final pose...they look pretty good. I just refuse to use stands though...ruins the presentation (for me, anyway).

Didn't find any lifts inside the shoes, are they glued in? I would agree that the EB bodies are better proportioned - but they're still too tall.

The more I look at my figures, the less happy I am. I think I might end up returning them. I am really dissapointed in the quality of the bodies.

Specially since I got K with two right arms.
