Nah, Movie Cap turned out amazing and he was late as usual. I wouldn't worry to much. Check out the pictures in the Cap thread. They are great.

ok spoke to sideshow about it and they said end of july/early august release for both reg and ex so that is that and for xyx you think none of the wl that signed up yesterday will convert? Doesn't make sense if it won't and they opened up the wl for nothing. Because even if it doesn't i already bought some so i am just trying here also to see if i can get more. So either way i'm good.

Just chatted with sideshow again about wl and they said it was opened because they received cancellations and those will be filled from yesterday's wl so far so good.

Things are certainly looking up for him now. I'm really wondering how many WL conversions there will be for the EX. This place is gonna be a lot of fun if there are a good number of converts. I must say the wait and excitement is much more fun when your order is secured.

many must have ordered on the pre order day without actually thinking if they will be able to pay for it, Also the es is quite big. there must have been lot of panic buying , people who must have score more than 2 or 3 for flipping but cant pay for it now, cos i dont think its selling that well (for a good enough profit), must have ended in cancellations, im thinking there could be a lot of conversions for this, and even more now that waitlist is open, because ebay sellers wont be able to their orders and must have ended up got their orders cancelled due to card declines,
skaar on the other hand, i think there wont be a new waitlist apart from the one already there and which have started converting too

I just think there is more to this than we are being told. Not that it matters much, but it seems to me that Sideshow opens waiting lists, closes them, lists items as sold out, puts them back in stock, etc. as a means of manipulating demand. The thing with Zartan was just ridiculous. I realize that they may not realize how many of these they will actually have to sell considering card declines, cancellations, returns, etc. But if that's the case why not just keep the dang waitlist open until you are reasonably sure that you will be able to sell all the pieces you have pre-ordered based on the list of those who ordered plus those on waitlist likely to let their order convert? They generated demand by making people think this was sold out. Now everyone who procrastinated is jumping on the waitlist bandwagon. I guess it's good business.

Does SS put a limit on the # of statues you can order on one account?
I'm happy go have been able to jump on the waitlist yesterday since I'm a month into this hobby. Granted if I was on the original waitlist when it sold out, got on the waitlist, then had it cancelled, and now a new one opens up, I'd be pissed.

...Do you mean per figure? Or per Year? I know there are limits per account on each piece but you can buy as many different figures as you want as far as I know.
Posters get angry because when someone's wait list converts because A. They had a wait list too and there's didn't or B. because they have nothing better to do and misery loves company.
