I just got back from Orlando...stayed at Pop Century for one night and then to the French Quarter for 5 nights...Star Wars weekend was pretty fun..until the characters started raving..I couldnt watch..had to move onto Fantasmic

Ooh thanks for that pic of the statue! That's awesome! Makes me wanna stay there next time.

And yah, I can't stand the stupid Star Wars dance-offs. It's the lowest common denominator that they're appealing to.

they have statues of LAdy and the Tramp too, pretty big ones,

and the dance offs, I didn't wanted to say anything because I already seem like a hater lol, but that was awful LOL, they were dancing to Kesha, LOL!

Fantasmic is one of the most amazing shows Ive ever seen, Is just simply amazing, is so dark too, my jaw literally Dropped, I couldn't believe Disney would do that,

Pop Century also has a section of their hotel that has Baloo and Mowgli statues as well... that's where I stayed last time I was at WDW.

I have to confess that I saw a video of Star Wars Weekends with Darth Vader dancing like Michael Jackson to "Beat It" with one silver glove... and I thought it was... funny. :monkey3 :monkey3 :monkey3

I feel so ashamed. :(

It's fun but... it's oh so embarrassing. It's not one of those things that I'll hate on the people who enjoy it though. It's just... I think I would be a happier person if it never existed. :)

moving on...

THIS PAST FRIDAY.... was the 1 year anniversary of my favorite bar in Disneyland... favorite bar anywhere. It was also the day they launched new souvenir glasswear. It's an extra charge but they're gonna make so much money off these.

The collumn on the bar. The eyes do move but very slowly.

First up is the SHIPWRECK ON THE ROCKS. My favorite drink. I always order it. It was $10. But with the glass it's $18.50. Check it out. I suppose I'm buying a unique glass for $8.50. On the bottom it says "Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, 1st Edition, Disney." Does this mean they'll have different designs for 2nd edition? 3rd edition??

The Trader Sam's Stirrers

Next up is the UH OA. This was a drink shared by 2-4 people and cost $30. With the glass, it's $36.50, which I think... is a pretty good deal then. The bottom of the glass also says 1st edition Disney, etc

When ordering this, you have to chant "UH OA! UH OA! UH OA OA OA!" to appease the Tiki Gods.

The Gods have been angered by all this celebratin'!

And that's all out of me! Electronica's replacement MAD T PARTY begun this weekend at California Adventure but I'm too lazy to check it out. I'll go next month.

I just read that there will be a special preview of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street open to Annual Passholders and D23 members only on June 9 and 10. They are even offering a package that has you dining with John Lassseter for $500! :horror :horror :horror

Anybody going?

NOPE DOT COM. I know they say it's going to charity but it seems ridiculous.

...and besides. My friend is going to a sneak preview on Sunday and is bringing me!!!!

You're one lucky Ewok, CB!

I look forward to your always stunning pictures of the event. :clap :clap :clap

Thanks! I'm even considering renting lens for the camera to take extra cool pics.

On a total tangent, I saw an EWOK t-shirt sold at Star Wars Weekends. Anyone know how much that costs? it's brown and has wicket on it.

Just spent 2 days at disneyland was quite fun, saw a guy wearing an awesome tokyo disneysea t shirt with the genie on it. would've loved to own that shirt :( too bad its sold only at tokyo disney and not online
