I'd love to see behind the scenes of putting a figure together and getting it approved for production, just to get and idea of the conversations involved and everything it takes, I think it would be very interesting.

Not only interesting but very helpful for both customers and company in attempt to understand each other :lol

I'd add to that, just seeing what goes into what the company chooses to make, why some things that seem like sure sellers don't get made and flops do and things like that, I'm as intrigued by all that goes into the products as the items themselves.

Bill responded to my pic and said that this will be the final sculpt so this is what we're getting.

At this point, I want to see shots of the whole figure and in poses with the weapons to get an idea of how I feel about the figure. Despite the issues I find with the portrait, if the overall figure wins me over I'll add him, every Rambo I own has some flaw, it's just a matter of how much it bothers me and the cost of the piece.

Lets just hope Enterbay developed a whole new body for Rambo, that looks nothing like the t-800's.

This is what happens when you show a sculpt right before production. No room for improvement. At least HT give you time to _____ and moan and do photoshop alterations.

The sculpt they showed way back looked really good, I'm curious how it'll turn out once they dice it up to add articulation.

What surprises me is how sudden they turned around, they were sharing the T800 all along the way, it was like we were part of making the figure, it was fun and exciting, now with Rambo, we just got a figure thrown at us, I was hoping for a similar experience to the T800.

An say what you want about PS manips, but several were done on the T800 and his portrait was revised, they listened and we got a portrait that looks like Arnold and not the Leader from Hulk.

I wasn't really paying that much attention to EB's T800, when it was first announced. I didn't know they revised the head sculpt. Cool for me that they did then, since it's pretty much the most impressive figure I have.

Not gonna happen, for a few reasons:

A) fanboys will complain and whine bout the 'other' sculpt that wasn't approve, how it looks more accurate etc like HT MJ thriller sculpt or mark 3 BD tony sculpt.

B) since HT also have the Rambo license, they can't risk/leak any infos or pics.

I get the impression you would have liked to have seen sculpt revision but when you use phrasing like above you sound like 'one of them'!

Yeah, they showed it really early on and his head flared out from about eye level up, they reworked the hair and things and it came out great. I also agree on how amazing it is, I'm spoiled by the first EB 1/4 scale figure being so good, had Rambo come first I'd probably feel a lot different, but after the T800, the likeness issues just hit more.

As someone else said, I tend to agree and think the eyes are EB's weak spot. The T-800's eyes always looked a tad off imo.

The eyes look fine to me, but please, nobody photoshop the T800 to look more accurate. I don't want the flaw visually pointed out to me. It might start to bug me :lol

He would. The eyes are the only problem aren't they?

There are other small mods you could probably make to the nose an chin, but as manips have shown, the eyes are the main issue and fixing them makes a world of difference.

This (the one on the right) looks so better - I would say perfect in my opinion. I think it is Rock83 who photoshopped the original picture (on the left) that Bill posted on his blog.
