When I first glanced at the headwculpt my mind instantly thought of this:

If it had to be one or the other I would def. prefer the arms be to big rather than to small like the v1, but there is no reason they couldn't be the right size. This figures arms are just clearly way to big. If they tweak the HS a little or if it looks better in hand I will buy this figure for sure

Man, it's just one miss after another with Hot Toys lately, isn't it? While an improvement over the original release (only because at least this figure has some expression to his face), it's still not very good. Why is his Dicaprio head so small?

I got excited for this figure when we saw the second teaser photo the other day, but this is such an incredibly easy pass. Even if the sculpt was spot on, based on the limited accessories and possible poses, he's just so incredibly...boring.

They showed this among many other videos during our wait last night at the Drafthouse. Thought it was funny...

I'm digging this Thor. He does have alot of Karl Urban in him, I admit. However, HT will figure out the HS, I'm not worried about that. They made him physically bigger, that's what I wanted.

Me likey!!

With all the other Avengers figures so far they've grown on me as the day has gone on, Thor is the exact opposite the more I look at it the more I dislike, in fact other than the paint work on the arms/chain I prefer my original in every single way :lol

I am generally the last person to see small faults but the size of the arms / chest is messing with the suit (from the pics). In addition, I like many think the hs is off. Perhaps better pics will prove otherwise but in my book HT has missed every (exposed) Avenger head sculpt thus far.

I want to buy these but I am not dropping the dough they want for average sculpts. The good news with Thor, it is pending licenser approval.

However, HT will figure out the HS, I'm not worried about that.
You should be; to my recollection the only prototype headsculpt that improved for the better in the actual release last year was Superman; so that's what, one in 25 figures?. Every Avengers figure they've shown so far needs some serious help in the headsculpt department apart from Hawkeye; you think they're going to redo all of them?

This looks pretty good but it's still a pass for me since I have the first one.
The only Avenger figures I'm getting are Fury,Hawkeye and The Hulk.
If Loki is going to be the Avengers version I guess I'll pick him up too since it won't be the Thor version.

I like the figure and will definitley be getting it.

But just like Hawkeye, the missed on the eyes. In this close up, I think if you look at different parts of the face individually, they are very close. But when you get to the eyes, not so much. And the eyes make the over all resemblance just ok.
