With what you went through with your doggie, I can imagine how you felt seeing this!

This reminded me so much of my childhood dog. When I was a kid, another dog came into our yard and she tore after it. She always protected us. She collapsed and when we ran up to her, She couldn't move and her tongue was blue. The vet said she had a stroke and suggested we put her down. My dad wouldn't have it and took her home. She couldn't get up or do much of anything. She was crazy for her ball, and my dad worked with her all the time with the ball to get her up. It took awhile, but she finally got pretty much back to normal. She had one stiff leg that she drug slightly, but it never stopped her from doing anything. She died at the age of 17 in her own bed with my dad beside her. She was 9 when she had the stroke. When our vet seen her, he was shocked because he never thought she'd walk again. I think if it weren't for my dad, she wouldn't have.
