Even if there are no leaking issues with this one, if the suit is made of rubber, the posability of the figure is going to be very limited. Has anyone announced a large (1/6 scale or bigger) statue of this Batman? I'm kind of tired of Hot Toys and how their figures look.

Only alternative is Play arts, which does have good articulation from what i can see

Those are nice figures, yes. I own a bunch of 1/6 scale Batman figures and none of them can hold a dynamic pose nicely, at least not as nicely as these can. But they're too small. Oh, well. I'll probably end up buying this HT Batman, too, as I've done with all their Batman releases so far, except for the first and last Batman Begins figures.

I agree. All of my HT batman figures are in a static, museum poses.

They do, but the torso joint/gap is kinda weird Imo.

I do not yet own any hot toys batman figures. I thought that nolans batsuit design was a bit boring, with the head mask looking a bit odd.
I much prefer the keaton batman of the 90's, although i missed out on cheap pre-orders (im from the UK so its not easy to find any hot toys cheap)

Hot toys getting the batman;AC license is great news, though i really am not sure if i would get any of the figures (though on second thoughts i would love a HUSH)
The movie batman line is where my interests ly, imagine a 1/6 michelle pheifer catwoman! Now that would be something.

The rubber stuff is iffy. I've got my Iron Man Mark III without any problems, along with the first Dark Knight Batman figure, no leaking or deterioration.

No, but really, I wouldn't mind seeing that revealed. I do, however, wonder about MGS. I think it was in that Ashley Wood thread, but someone said that Konami doesn't like similar products out all at once (paraphrasing). Could it be that Konami is making HT wait until the Square Enix Play Arts stuff is over before they can unveil it? However, in regards to Arkham City, today is Wednesday, HT either reveals stuff on Sunday night or Wednesday night, therefore, Tonight, Hot Toys!!!

^ Hey i don't whine nearly as much as i did but people have kept that perception if i do or don't.

It's Probably because my interests have gone beyond HT due to their ____ you customers attitude!

They even screw over their most loyal customers

Yeah, I'll still support 'em, but I may very well be moving over to 1/4 scale, the stuff EB is doing is really inspired. That being said, I wouldn't miss AC/89 stuff for the world, TDKR is TBD. I'll see if it leaks/if EB does their own stuff.

I'm definitely looking forward to upgrading my Sovereign Studios Batman to Hot Toys.
Joker is a repainted BBK Clown head (my first repaint) and costume on a Headplay body with Police Joker gloves.

The cloth they used for Jill Valentines suit looks good but I wouldn't want the same cloth used on Cap to be on Batman, I think it would look strange.

They can certainly make a material that looks armorish while being some type of fabric. Rubber would ruin the look of this IMO.

The different type of suit is what sets this apart from the movie Batmans.
