I'm going to be selling my AMP Suit, £450 if anyone from the UK is interested. Going to be putting up on the for sale thread hopefully tonight.

Nice picture Jay. :clap If you have more pic. please do post them. :) EDIT: I saw the link later. :wink1:

Ordered me some Acryl sides and made me a display case for my AMP suit last weekend. :)
Used some IKEA Led light to lighting it up and I’m very pleased with the results :yess: …now it’s 100% cats and dust

Hey figurefreaks,
Really like how you did the lighting on this one. Hard to tell, but is that a led strip light in a cover on top of the acrylic cover outside?
Where is the cabling running?:clap

Thanks! :)

Yea, that’s right it’s actually two IKEA Led light strips put together to one, and the very tiny cable, is running outside the corner on the top and down the corner at the back …using the same double sided tape that holds the Acryl sides together.

You can always do the same inside the case if you like. :wink1:

IMO it made the perfect light for this. :yess:

Good luck! :wave

Hey guys, I'm new to this thread so forgive me if this has been covered already, but what do you think the odds are on Hot Toys making a 1/6th scale AMP Suit with the Colonel?

I say, very slim. Who knows though...Hot Toys always has a knack for surprising me lately.

Thanks figurefreaks. The lighting does work well I must say:clap
Interesting how the acrylic pieces are also only stuck together with double sided tape and not glued. I have to now source someone to supply 3 acrylic boxes of varying sizes similar to yours.

You welcome! :wave

When I made the box I got the tape from a local glass company, and it worked perfectly :yess: …no mess. :wink1:
