Predators - 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure

As Im getting Classic I doubt I would get P1 if they re release it ever in 1/6.

Yeah, and I'm kind of surprised some folks are so passionate about saying that this figure shouldn't be used for this purpose or that purpose. Who cares what folks use it for? The only reason it's as popular as it is, the only reason it was made, hell, the only reason the character exists at all (!) is because it closely resembles the original Predator. Do you guys just hate customs? Or do you just think we're sending the wrong signal to Hot Toys somehow, and that they would give us the Stan Winston special if we didn't buy this one?

just kidding, custom away, I don't have the nards or the skills to do, so I am envious with those in the know.

Trust me, they ain't gonna replace anyhow unless you buy directly from Sideshow. And at that point, it won't matter if you open or not. But it really doesn't take much skill to mod this guy in the way most are. Pop off the head, add bone necklaces, maybe add the bicep plate, and voila! If you've got some skills beyond that, weather the bio mask and add a pouch on his skirt, but most aren't going that far.

Be much easier if there were necklaces which snap together so no need to remove head.

Hence the reason why people are only buying him because of how close to P1 he physically resembles, even if they do display him as Classic.

No one knows for sure but with HT recent 1/4, 1/6 Predator announcement, I would say yes but they'll probably save him until last with the P1 being so similar to the Classic. I'll definitely want the 1/4 version coming though.
