Well, let's put it this way: I love my HT Celtic Predator, but if someone offered me $2K for him, I'd gladly drop the thing.

(and re-buy it brand-new, mwa, ha, ha, ha!)

I thought there were a few things I could never part with, Trick R Treat Sam, Sideshow Darth Vader, TS: Battle Damaged John Connor but 10 months of unemployment put an end to those thoughts. I am back to work now and rebuilding the collection but nothing is untouchable now.

Several for different reasons.

Ones that were gifts from the missus: 3AA Blanc NOM Commanders.
Ones that I've given to the missus as gifts: HT Robo and Medicom Snape.
Ones that are mine, but the missus likes too much to let me get rid of them: HT T1 and T2 T-800s.

Any of my Terminator collection. Even though I have multiples of pretty much everything I'd still stop and think 'yeah but what if I think of a variant I could have made out of that' etc etc

Priorities can change in life though so who really knows for sure.

I keep telling myself that i should sell off all my HT and get into something more focused, but then i just wanna keep my IM, and WM. . . .and everyone else. . .i just cant seem to let em go. . .altho as Darkness said, money does talk

I haven't regretted selling anything that I've sold so far although things will get increasingly difficult. I'm running out of items that I feel have been non-essential for my collection.

I battle a lot with the figures I want to sell and keep b/c i dont buy to sell later, i buy to keep. Then I gain a personal attachment b/c most of my figures I've tweaked and shave added my own personal custom touch which make it hard say "ok I'll sell that." there are only a few that haven't been customized or modded and those are even special b/c they were so good that I didn't need to mod them. But the ones that definitely will never go unless I financially need it are my Supermen, LOTR, SW and Depp figures. The rest can go for the right price even my T2 T-800 but that would be the last to go of the selling bunch

I think I wouldn't part with my HT Endos. Even if they make new ones these still are a piece of art.

last one to go if and only IF everything must go.

That is and always will be a hell of a nice custom, fosing. Figures like that are a different story when it comes to the "money talks" philosophy.

Pfft....there is nothing material in this world that I couldnt part with for the right price.

Anyone who says otherwise is completely full of ____.

Well of course there is a price for everything but would you part with them for current prices? If somebody offered me $1,000 for Jack Sparrow of course I'd sell it but at its current going rate (about retail) no I wouldn't.
