Just got mine. I'm a little disppointed on the scale on this. At the SSC Website, it states 26" & when I measured it from the top of the head to the bottom of the base, its only 23". Personally, its a little over priced based on the lack of detail it has. It would had been better if it was chromed or painted actually silver. It looks to be onyx color with some grey paint color splattered at the boot area.

The light fligger is a nice touch tough. However, given the price tag on this, it should had been $400 at best.

Looking at the scale, it definitely does.:lecture Your glass window height (if u have it) must be over 24" otherwise though otherwise it will look weird. The height of the Destroyer is 23";

Look what greeted me at the door this morning!!!! This is an awesome piece and pictures do not do this piece any justice it is hugeee!!!

Great shots, though I'm still stuck on how small he looks beside the Thor PF.:dunno
BTW I hope he wasn't sitting out there all night or morning.

Hi Batfan, thanks for posting the pics. I was wavering on whether to buy or not, and I am getting closer to click on the buy button.

I was and then now I'm not.:cuckoo::dunno but I'm thinking this one will be available for sometime

No problem Batman, you should deffinately order him, I almost canceled this order because I thought it was a bit pricey but when I tried it was to late he had already shipped and am I glad I didn't cancel deffinately worth it!!! I was thinking he would also be great to display with the hot toys Thor and Loki figure.

wow this thing is freaking huge, just saw this photo on FB and couldn't believe the difference in height between the hot toys thor and this.
so clearly this piece is not a good solution for a to scale destroyer with the hot toys thor right? is there a destroyer out there that does the trick?

Yeah unfortunately those Sideshow specs are wrong a lot of the time as they are just estimates. If they were given in apples instead of inches they could be more accurate.

That's incorrect. Although he doesn't measure 26". He is actually just slightly over 24 1/2". Got mine yesterday. I think if the paint was executed as it should have been (SHINY CHROME!!!), this would have been a perfectly amazing piece. I find the paint to be much darker and duller in person than I've witnessed in the pictures I've seen. I just can't keep this piece with this paint job. I will have to be chroming it myself. The sculpt is incredible and HUGE, but the paint, as many have suspected is truly truly truly disappointing. With a proper paint job, this would be worth the asking price. Seeing how it is with my own eyes, I begrudgingly admit that it is not quite there. I'll get some pics up in a little while.

What should have been...

...unfortunately this is what I saw at SDCC.
If you do get it chromed...very curious about the price.
I think if the name tag were replaced with a nameplate (removable or a separate sculpt) much like the lsb line...and a chromed paintjob...this would have been worth the price. I think the base could use a lil more detail as well.

Here are a few pics. I think the one close up of the arm with the busted spike shows the paint job the best. I know it's a close up and it's not fair to judge the paint in this way, but it's difficult to show exactly what I'm saying about the paint with the full body shots. The full shots have a touch of Photoshop magic added, but the close up is not manipulated in any way. The paint is just plain dull with a touch of metallic luster and finished off with a gloss layer painted over it. I think this piece could have stood among the best if it had a fitting paint application. Anyways...
