What's up with the eyes? They seem too far apart.

From people that need/want to sell theirs to be able to afford something else. They have to ask a lower price than what they bought it for or people would just buy a new one from sideshow or an LCS.

Seen some great deals on Ironman 1:2 maquette which is also open edition. They also don't go up in value since it's still available directly from SS you have to sell at a loss.

How is an open edition a collectible? I sure hope SS reconsiders. All we need to see is the paint apps to improve or degrade between rounds of open-run releases. I really dislike the idea of open run editions.

Yeah, the price point doesn't justify the mass produced availability in unlimited numbers years down the line.

They do look that way, and they look a bit small. But the sculptor has assured us that neither of those statements is true.

I figured it would be a large run since Batman is popular and SSC would seek to maximize its profit of this. I expect multiple variants as well.

Yeah, would be nice to get a 360 or video of it to put those issues to rest. I'm surprised there isn't one up yet.

If this bust is open ES there is no hurry anyways I guess.

Man...I would love to see this with my own eyes. I think that would push me over the edge and compel me to pick this masterpiece up. I really don't collect busts...but damn, this looks good.

Na it's just the black paint and shadow throwing the corners of the eyes off.

No but some seem to think that its sold out from various distributer, that its harder or can't be ordered.
