They look like this. I think they were originally released as model kits, and then X-Plus released them as completed figures. They'd fit in with the 12" Godzilla figures. I think I saw a Gaira pop up on ebay one time. They seem pretty hard to come by.

For people who ordered Biollante off Hobby Search - what was your grand total including shipping?
Trying to compare prices right now and find the best deal. My total is 49,450 JPY on AmiAmi with EMS. Shipping alone is 11,250 JPY. I wonder if I should re-order with SAL if it would save me any money or not....

I didn't order from Hobby Search, I went through Otacute and the total price came to $592 U.S. Shipping alone was $128 or something like that. I also think shipping restrictions won't allow them to ship this through SAL.

Ah, thanks for the shipping info. Assuming HobbySearch and AmiAmi charge pretty similiar shipping rates, AmiAmi is probably my best bet then for price. Just sucks to be spending so much on a piece of vinyl....but Biollante is one of favorites and I doubt they'll ever make a 30cm version anytime soon.
Also I feel like buying X-Plus is like buying Hot Toys a lot of the time - they never really go down in value if ever did want to resell.
For people that did buy Biollante - is she basically your new grail piece or no?

It's an amazing figure, but I don't think she's worth the price to be honest.
It's pretty huge. The 10" Godzilla looks tiny next to Biollante. Even the 12" figures look small next to her.

I don't think a Kong will ever happen. I hear Toho actually has problems using MechaniKong nowadays too because it's considered using Kong's likeness.
So unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever see either one unless Toho can obtain the right for Kong again, which probably won't ever happen either.
they can probably get around that by just calling him kong

Alright I decided to instead buy a Biollante off ebay for $580 shipped. Seemed like the best price.
'55 would be great with '54s head, but the head makes him look like '54s goofy brother to me.

Not likely, maybe for the Legendary Godzilla, but Toho seems very picky about who they grant licenses too, not many American companies get one, particularly for figures/models/statues, they've got many companies in the eastern world that produce those items.
