It's so weird playing this after playing Battlefield 3
Some differences:

-guns have less kickback
-enemies die more easily
-tons of aim assist
-health regenerates more easily, and you take less damage
-enemy AI isn't as aggressive

It's pretty straightforward and easy to get into, just like it always was, not that it's a bad thing, if you like the more simple gameplay. I think I'll stick with BF3 for multiplayer though.

Really? The UMP seems really dimmed down from MW2 to me.

Yeah, best connection I got is 2 yellow bars......damn laggy.
I'm using UMP but I dont really find that powerful, can't wait to unlock all the guns so I can test all of them out properly.

*shrug*
There's been a bunch of times I've been laying into people and have them hit be a few times with the UMP. Could be the lag, but doesn't seem so.

Aside from that I've been having fun with it, but MW2 was fun at first too, so just gotta wait it out I guess.

Yeah, it's going to take a few weeks to see what the games really like. Once a ton of players have everything unlocked and know all the tricks, you'll get the real deal experience.

I don't have it yet, but based on what I've seen...

The maps are small. They definitely wanted to encourage action. You can't take two steps without seeing an enemy.

Guns are back to MW2 power and kill fast.

Also like MW2, they don't seem to have much recoil and bullet spread. The laser rifles are back, especially with the "kick" weapon perk.

The skies are always filled with some sort of kill/point streak.

The knife lunge is back regardless of what they say. It's not commando crazy, but I've seen some pretty series lunges.

Quickscoping is back and easier than ever from I've seen.

It appears to be MW2 on crack, like I figured.

:goodpost::exactly:

Sniping on these games are so easy. I run around with them like a damn AR. :lol

My wife is the bestest! She had to run to target and wanted to know why people were in the audio video section. She has known I wanted the game. However, I could only get one new game after Dark Souls and I chose Skyrim.

She felt bad and picked it up for me! I get to play when I get home! :rock

Very nice. You'd made the right choice, but now you don't have to. Let the frustration begin!

That's awesome. I'm debating on stopping and getting tonight, or just waiting for the extended holiday. Sure would be nice to celebrate Veteran's day by killing a bunch of terrorists.

:lolThe maps are pretty good size, a few small ones, but quite a few of them. Had lag in my first match but none after that.I find it funny, even me, when people are sucking ass they complain, but when their kicking ass, no complaints really. Lol!

Everything! I've been playing campaign, multiplayer, survival and Spec Ops (All solo except multiplayer of course) and it's too much fun to put down!

I've spent a couple hours with the multiplayer. It's exactly what I expected. It's MW2 with new (cramped) maps. If you loved MW2 though, that's good news. The instant deaths are back, the camping is back, the rage is back. It's just as frustrating and ocassionally fun as MW2 was. Sounds, looks and feels the same. But again, if you're a big MW2 fan, that's a positive I guess. The big fans will love it and the casual fans will probably not be blown away.

The maps are pretty small, but they're complicated. There's little nooks and crannies everywhere. Staircases, alleys, ramps and windows...I can see what they were going for. Tighter quarters that encouraged run and gun, but all the complexity just makes it easier to not see that guy hiding in the corner or in that window. It's going to be a campers paradise once they learn all the maps.

Kill Confirmed has potential. I only played one match and we got completely slaughtered so it was a bad demo, but the ridiculous pace and craziness of it made me think it could be fun.

I ended up doing about normal for me. Went positive mostof the time, but always got that feeling that I was slightly behind everyone. Typical of playing online but it never stops being annoying. I know one thing...killstreaks will be almost impossible for me in this game. The maps are so maze like with flanking opportunities everywhere and you die FAST when shot. It felt like two bullets for me most of the time.

Overall, I give it a meh/10 so far.

Watched some campaign round a friends house. Pretty hectic. They need to update the engine. Textures look really bad.
