Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

Why should an IM fan care if you get your MGS or Sucker Punch figures now or in a decade? :huh :lol

IM is obviously the bread and butter for this company, those of you who don't like it can always feel free to shop elsewhere. :wave

Not asking you to care. :dunno

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

Oh and Stealth :D

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

So in other words this is like some high school grunge band that was cool because only a few knew about them, but once they got big people hated them because everyone else came on board? Sorry but this seems very high school to me. :lol

it's nothing to do with big. it's to do with the way they do business, the products they choose to sell, and the fans they target to. you can call it high school, but really, i wouldn't expect you to understand. anyway, it's just my personal view of a company i used to love - why you fanboys are getting so offended is beyond me. who gives a ____ whether i think HT suck now? i'll still buy their products from time to time. they make good ____. but i don't have to think the brand image is cool anymore.

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

Man, I'm glad I don't collect Iron Man. I really feel for you guys that are completists with this line. I could never do it.

- Mark I
- Mark I (re-release)***
- Mark II
-Mark II V2
- Mark III
- Mark III (Gunmental)
- Mark III (Battle Damage)
- Mark IV
- Mark IV (secret project)
-Gantry with Mark IV
- Mark V (2)
- Mark VI (2)

- War Machine

- War Machine (Milk)***

- Iron Monger

- Tony Stark (Flight)
- Whiplash
- Black Widow

- Hall of Armor sets (that doesn't even take into account multiple sets)

Whew, that's insane. I bet I'm missing one too. That's not even taking into account possible re-releases or the inevitable "Avengers" Iron Man.

Bolded the ones I have, put stars by the ones I'll own, added a couple things, and left the ones I have no plans to get alone. Yeah, its a lot but I love it. :rock

Yep, missed the Mark 4 + Gantry, stand alone Gantry & Stealth variant

Oh yeah, damn.

That's crazy, but I gotta say, that's quite the definitive collection. Really all that's missing is a Nick Fury and maybe a couple of drones. This is probably the best line Hot Toys has done as far as utilization goes.

Good luck to you guys if Hot Toys decides to make a Gantry for Iron Monger (with or without another Iron Monger). :lol

I can't wait for all the figs from these 2 films.

I know. :rock :hi5:

I'm not upset if that makes you feel better. You're obviously upset because they're not a niche company anymore making just preds, aliens, etc. That's fine In the end I could care less as I'm happy with what HT is doing with their Marvel stuff. Everything else isn't my problem.

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

No Black Widow or plans for Hall of Armor sets? I'm disappointed Josh.

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

Give him an infraction Josh :yess: :D

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

There isn't really anything to defend. This is just like the Silly Things variant that eventually became a Con Exclusive Gunmetal Grey. HT is simply making a figure for a partner that is exclusive to them and to celebrate an anniversary. It isn't a necessary release like they did with Scarecrow for example but it will be a pain in the ass nonetheless.

Don't like the doll hair on her. I even stayed open minded about it until I saw it at comic-con in 2010 but it just looked eh. If they did the HoA with a Mark I included I'd get it as a diorama type piece but by itself no. I have no plans to put one of my figures in there with it.

Give him an infraction Josh :yess: :D

:rotfl:rotfl

:nono Josh knows I envy his collection, nothing but love here :D

Re: HT x Milk Magazine 10th Anniversary version: 1/6 WAR MACHINE

I read this on facebook, thought it was pretty damn funny.

I think HT has a dart board with only pics of Batman, Iron Man, Predator and a random misc pic. They then blind fold an employee, spin him around and he throws the dart. All throws gravitate to Iron Man.

All the crying on facebook is pretty good too. Not as great as the Mark I re-release though.
