Big Chief appear to be on course for an outstanding debut, I hope everyone buys the first 4 figures even though I'm not....unless they shelve Rory & River until later in the line and do a couple of Classic characters instead.

It'll be at peak condition for it's first 4 shapes, lose it's charisma & dress sense in the following years before undergoing a brief resurgence during the later stages of it's 7th incarnation.
An attempt at a comeback in the mid 90's won't work due to it being awful and then the body will disappear without trace as the companions become the lead characters in the line.

This is shaping up to be amazing. And if it turns out as good as it's looking so far this may end up being my favourite figure.

I don't want to be mean, but this is still in production and it's the company's first figure release so it's unfair to compare it to a figure from a well established company with many figures under it's belt ,for there first figure this look's bloody fantastic and this may be a the crown jewel of many dr who fans collections and no Joker figure is going to change that.

89' Batman & Joker would beat ANY Nu-Who figure in my book, but would be reduced to non runners by a Big Chief Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton, Sylvester McCoy or William Hartnell.

Well i thought we were talking about the figures themselves and not the characters! ..I'm fairly certain most hot toys figures would beat any new who figure in your book bcm77 if were talking characters over the actual craftsmanship.
..and like i said earlier it's unfair to compare Big chiefs' first figure with one of hot toys latest ones.

I for one hated Dr Who until Matt Smith took on the role of the Doctor. I'm a big fan of the "Nu-Who" now. I can't wait for this figure and just hope it isn't priced too high.

it's so boring hearing HT name mentioned in every 1/6 thread which isn't anything to do with them. I would more than understand comparisions if they were making this figure but there not so

All I know is that this looks amazing and I can't wait to have it on my shelf. they have really done an amazing job with this figure so far. I hope they include the new coat that he is wearing in the second half of this season.
