THE FORTRESS OF POWER!

I thought it was about time i started a thread over here on sideshow showing THE FORTRESS. its 100% made by myself, and a friend of mine, from start to finish. we are in the process of touching it up and casting it in resin... feel free to PM me for more details. thanks!

these photos below are of the actual sculpt before its cast so, not the final product.

the tower walls (not yet shown) are magnetically removable. so you can pose guys inside, and put the walls back on, having them look out the windows.
and there will be a drawbridge with chains, turret gun, and flag.

the tower turret gun, cast, and painted.

ben screwing it to the boards, prepping it for the mold making process. you can see the immense scale here, and you can also see there is PBR in most of the WIP shots. the only way to get througha project this large. haha

thanks man. just realizing all the projects ive had/have going on.. haha overwhelming. at some point ill take some time off and just buy stuff i like rather than make it. haha thanks again.

This is the Castle Gayskull to own. Beautifully realised and fits in perfectly with the MOTU universe.
I'd want it just for an awesome backdrop for a diorama

Great work! How much are you asking for one fully painted? How much does it weigh to get an idea for shipping? Any chance you could post the dimensions? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to decide on the purchase if you will be selling them.

haha well... i dont want to be giving people heart attacks. but is it really a custom if its made from scratch? rather than customizing an existing figure or piece?

if its more than a health problem and a case of misleading id be glad to change the title. but...

Wow, breathtaking sculpt. I'm glad I got out of MOTU, because if i hadn't I'd be tempted with this. A Ghostbusters firehouse now that could still tempt me. Keep up the great work.

yes, the moussor, the flocking looks very well with the color of the castle and would make for a nice blending. if you can please take a photo of that it would be wonderful, thank you BISHART!
