..had to do it!:lol:lol:lol

Well hell, that was my first reaction too :slap

hells yeah!:yess: Thanks @DFanatic just picked up this bad boy for a great price!!!! Now, let the waiting game begin........:impatient:

I wasn't planning on getting this, but after seeing some of the in hand pics he looks stunning! So I went for it, I'm just calling it a b-day present to myself:lol

I ordered it from the FP NYC link given above, never ordered from them before. I remember reading some ppl say they have bad customer service. Anybody here order from them, how are they?

Ordered from them a couple times. They had friendly customer service. Received a defective item once and they exchanged it with no problems. Maybe you were confusing them with a different store? I would definitely order from them again.

I've Ordered From Them Before Too, Great Customer Service!
They Sold Me One Of The HT Display Models For 20% Off, On Top Of the 10% They Sometimes Take Off, They Also Threw In Some Magazines, They Double Boxed It, And Game Me Some Sort Of Iron-On Patch

Got this guy today. Opened up the shipper to check the figure. I really can't keep him as I don't have the space and need the cash BUT... dammit, this is a really nice looking figure! Trying to resist taking him out! The web details on the body and boots look fantastic.

Looking at all the lovely pics posted here is making me really impatient now!
Any one know if the UK suppliers will start shipping soon ?

Anyone still looking for this guy i have one left NEW IN BOX.

Shoot me a PM if your interested.

I am very interested, I have in fact sent you several PMs asking about it but it would seem that you haven't received them.

Additionally, I can't post on your thread in the Commerce thread because lazy moderators do not appear to be approving my posts!

If you read this, please contact me on [email protected] if you are willing to post to the UK.

Thank you very much.

Ive been thinking of doing this with my spare spidey:lol

Any tips on what sort of strings or wires and how to tie them, so that they wont leave any nasty marks due to the stress on the suit, especially the rubber webbing parts?

The way I did this wont leave any marks to the figure itself.
I used fishing line. This one holds 7.6kg and I used it as twofold. Thinking of chancing it to one that holds 14kg, but even this should hold just fine...

Haven't been following this thread very closely lately, but I know bunch of people have used the upsidedown pose.
Not sure, but I think I might be the only one to use the bootheels to further secure my figure in this pose...

I initially disliked this promo shot:

thinking I wouldn't be able to get the legs together from the heel (like in the comics). Thankfully HT changed the boots before the figure came out :yess:

My english isn't perfect, so it's kinda hard for me to explain this, but here goes:

1. I used the web holding hands and ran the fishing line through both arms and tied a knot.

2. Then I took a small screwdriver to remove the bottom shoe covers. This reveals the cloth underneath.
Cloth has four holes on it and if you touch the heel, you will notice it is actully hollow.

3. So, I took a hard plastic tube (diameter 4mm), covered it with duck tape, to make it softer from the surface, so that it would stick to the holes better.
Then I just attached both feet together with the tubing.

4. Ran the fishing line round the tube many times over and tied knots to the fishing line all the way through to make it look more like the webbing in the comics.
And attached the line to a hook in the seeling.

So, my figure is actually supported by both, hands and feet. So there should be no worries about the wrist pegs popping off and Spidey taking a free fall... Hope this makes any sense?

EDIT:
In short, kinda like this:
