MVC2 got 56 characters, UMVC3 will have 50(and I have no idea how some characters got the green light to make the cut, e.g. taskmasker, modok etc.)

DLC already planned for UMK3!!

So you pay $60 for the first game, $10 for 2 characters, now $40 for the new game plus DLC!!! I LOVE YOU CAPCOM!!!!

The worst part of that video was the "more fighters to come" after they announced the new fighters to this version. If these aren't on game, and are DLC (which they most likely will)

You're questioning MODOK and Taskmaster, when they just added Rocket Raccoon?
actually NO... most of those 56 characters were re-sprites of past games.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was a re-skin of all the other fighting games prior with only 8 new characters.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was started from scratch, from the ground up and had 38 characters. That alone justifies $59.99. If you feel ripped off, dont buy video games at all. Ever heard of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition.

OK lets suppose CAPCOM did release all this as a DLC.
8 levels - $4.99 each. = $40 (roughly the price of a new Mvc3)
12 characters - $4.99 = $60 (price of a brand new game)
so you rather have the option of paying $100 worth of DLC that could go down any moment (ala PSN outtage) or $40 for a disc version. hmmmmm...
...
So technically, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is twice the game MvC2 will ever be.

If it bugs you THAT much, you would've ended up paying at the very minimum $20 for DLC.
$20 + $20 = price of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
if you still feel like you got sand in the who-ha... then you should have that examined by a doctor.

I like this guy...makes perfect sense to me. People just like to _____ about stuff. The ones complaining the most are probably no good at the game anyway lol

why do capcom nut huggers try to make themselves feel better about being robbed and lied to?
the reason i am upset is not because they released a better version for $40. i am upset because they blatantly lied to consumers saying that spectator mode and particular characters were "impossible" to implement but somehow they did the impossible within a matter of months.
don't tell me not to buy the game if i don't like it, i already bought the first one because i was lied to. and get capcom's nuts out of your mouth and just admit you got bamboozled too.

so would you feel better if you were charged upfront for the $20? Did you buy any of the costume packs for Street Fighter IV or any other DLC for MVC3? Im sorry that the tsunami in Japan that cost the country billions of dollars gets in the way of you and your video gaming... how inconsiderate of CAPCOM and their developers in Japan... curse them to hell.

Im not praising CAPCOM, but you got some emotional problems if you honestly get THAT upset about a company lying about spectator mode. maybe it wasnt feasible 9 months ago... things change and in the end CAPCOM will still get your money. The downside is we are stuck listening to you moan about it, when in all honesty your opinion means nothing really.
