If your here to make the big $$$ and not to just enjoy the ride of buying and collecting you should GTFO now... Must people you say buy to resell witch is complete BULL____... I have had figures in the past that had gone way up in value in the after market... Didnt stop me for trading or selling them at a fair second hand price... Some people tend to be greedy little SOBS that wont take less then the going rate on EVILBAY witch is a DAMN shame it is tearing apart new collectors who try to get in late and cant get any of the figures they want because some _______ on EVILBAY wants 800 for one figure thats only a few years old... I dont see me buying a 175 figure then selling a few years later for 500 as exseptable I only see myself as a greedy _______ witch why I dont flip my ____ like that on EVILBAY... I would rather trade my old figures that I lost interest in for new ones regardless of ther price point witch I have done in the past on this very site and Ive had a plenty tell me I was NUTZ for letting figures go for the trade that I had done for them but I dont believe that for a minuet...

IMHO, collecting for the purpose of reselling and making a quick profit is a very 'icky' road to take.

I know right. Thats the dumbest thing ever. Why buy a figure that cost 168 dollars and then sell it for 300 on ebay. it makes no sense. If your in this just for money than do stamp collecting instead. It's utterly ridiculous. It's pretty much laughing in our faces saying Ha those nerds will buy a 500 dollar figure that's more money for me.

I don't think HT collectibles are of low value at all. You're the one stating that HT keeps releasing the same stuff over and over again which is hurting the profits of those who are looking to invest and resell.

In which case I will respond, i hope they keep re-releasing the same figures over and over again, that way all those resellers will no longer invest in anything Hot Toys makes which will allow collectors to acquire what they want at a more affordable price.. and i stress much more.

If HT decided to stop making any more figures from Spiderman 1, 2 & 3, wouldn't that be more of a reason to get this figure? It's HT, it's Spiderman, & it's a good figure. Even if you didn't like the movies, this is a good representation of Spiderman altogether. You don't have to look at this figure & think "oh, that's Spiderman from Spiderman 3". You can look at it & think "that's Spiderman" If you are a Spidey fan, comic, cartoon, movie or Electric Company, is there a better figure?

Basically my point was, if you are a Spidey fan, perhaps it would be a good idea to pick this up. Never know when the next red & blue Spidey will be released in this quality again.
