I think the last time I got a Star Wars figure was the Coruscant clone and I ended up selling him. But I agree that the commanders, especially Gree, have almost brought me back to the SW line. But between Marvel Hot Toys and Joes coming in almost monthly, there's just no room in the budget.

Yeah as for Joes, i get the guys I really want for the majority of them have been pretty awesome. While SW, I only buy the clone commanders. They stop the commanders then Im done...until they do another vader.

The SW line is such a snoozefest these days, and when they drop something cool the price tag kills me. Rather save the cash for teh awesomess that is the Joe line.

Im not selling anything I have just waiting alot longer to get what I want, whereas I want all the Joe stuff the minute it comes out

Well they just previewed a Battle Droid STAP after putting the BD's themselves up for preorder. So maybe there's still hope for the swamp skier.

Greedo, Mamawhateverthehellhisnameis Nadon, Battle Droids, Neil and Bobber clones, 4th Sandtrooper variant (Babysitter flashbacks), 5ft polystone lizard, the dumb cantina environments, there're some good pieces coming but just as much yawns.

On a sidenote, Asia Scale Store is making this for $250ish in 1/6 and it's metal.

I think the Checkpoint Alpha is something that can be made cheaper than that ninja dojo thing.

I would agree with that 110%. Though, I mostly concentrating on the Clones I've been pleased with the items that weren't. This is just the cycle though as I remember all the when are we going to get something other than Han, Luke, and Leia. Next, year it will be when are we going to get something other than Bounty Hunters.

So are we thinking Hawk in October, R&R in November, and Zartan in December? That would be a Joe a month starting in September! And with Stalker, Dusty, Desert Trooper, that's a damn good pace of once a month going back to spring. Great googa mooga!!!

I am in the process of doing the very same thing.

I was a die hard completist. But with the Joe line doing so well. I can't afford everything. So I am dropping the SW line to only my favorite characters.

Even with SW, it's only ever been my favourites... I have Old Ben, Luke, Han, Vader, Stormie, the Emperor and Yoda (incoming), which part of me would like to keep (they're all exclusives)... And then Cody, one of his Clones, Mace and Sandtrooper Squad Leader. I'm having trouble justifying those (also all exclusive) because of course they don't "fit" as well as the others.

But to be quite honest I'm really tempted to just sell them all off. Even though I just bought a number of them recently, I feel like they're just something I don't care about as much as the Joes, and they're taking up precious space... Not to mention they'd free up funds for a lot of future stuff, which is important since we've got a baby on the way now...

Gah. Don't know what to do!!!

Depends on your take and likes, I agree with Nam that the exciting figs are to far apart

i only just saw tomorrows preview of IG88, which is awesome news, but hoopefully we have a Bossk and co to go with him before 2017.

The release of the BD only means more endless variants now, and I could care less about them. Not that Im a PT hater, just want more characters then generic rehashes.

Either way Zartan kicks major ass
