Genius!!! Hey is there any official word as to which comic stores are preordering this awesome statue?

Dang this Thor action statue is sick. Very cool and unique. I thought I would never buy bowen again after I sold all mine, but this Thor and Thanos on throne may pushed me to buy bowen again. I wish the scale is bigger so we can display them with sideshow statues. But oh well still amazing statues regardless of the size.

Anybody know if there are any updates with Thanos on throne?

Totally agree with you mamba...this one is a must buy for me. Modern Thor made me start buying Bowen, this one will keep me buying some Bowen pieces and Thanos will help justify why I'm buying Bowen. Sure the scale could be better to mix with SSC, but these are great pieces regardless.

I just hope that SSC's Thor comiquette is as dynamic as this BD piece when it's finally revealed. I can't even imagine what a piece like this would look like in 1/5 or 1/4 scale.

I still don't have a SSC Thor in my collection. I thought with the release of the movie, SSC would drop a Thor comiquette already.

Oh well, I'll add another BD Thor to my collection. This piece is just too good to pass on.

Agreed filip

Sorry I don't like the swirling hammer. Looks cheap.

No need to be sorry, to each their own but I love how varied opinions and perceptions on things can be.

For instance I actually think the spinning hammer is one of the coolest statue design elements I've seen recently. Not to mention I think the paint job simply does an amazing job of portraying the blur effect and the speed at which Thor would be spinning his mighty weapon.

I think if they made him with one hammer spinning and not like 20, it would imo looked better. I am curious how reliable the spinning mechanism will last?

I don't think it actually spins, it is just sculpted to look that the hammer is the motion of swinging. I could be wrong tho.

Hmmm for some reason I thought it spin? I don't like it sculpted to look spin because the rest of it doesn't show movement ?

AH, yea if it were to move then I might think different about this one however all the talks I've heard and seen on this statue point to it not being a moveable piece but the the effect Randy decided to go with in regards to mimicing the blur effect one would see in real life. With the entire hammer piece being static and the paint job showing the varying hammer colors (lighter and darker) I think he nailed the effect. But again just IMO.
