:lecture Awesome! :clap

Mine's still showing as awaiting customs clearance, it's been four days now. Maybe they think it's a bomb? :(

Don't forget Friday night was probably the last time they were sorting parcels so that's two days were it's just sitting there. Mine has been sat in the delivery office since Friday night.

I can not get the damn bio off, I have tried hard as hell and the glue wont come undone. It's possible, just not on mine.

wow :(..and that's one of my plans is to get the bio on the masked version and make it fit on the closed mouth version...have you tried heating it up with a heat gun or blow dryer ?

anyways, here's my plan when i get my three set...

used one body and just switch heads
want to end up with just two heads and a bio
sand and fill seam on the bio and fix the gap
repaint armor
repaint/touch up the head and put quills
possibly touch up the whole body and add quills on chest, legs and shoulders
find more accurate netting but I want to see what I'm dealing with first before I do so
repaint the blades
LED on mask
maybe repaint the dreads..is it supposed to be that glossy ?
make the self destruct mechanism at least open :)

I snapped a few more pics of this guy tonight. Thinking about giving it a go and fixing the seam, but have no experience with painting so kinda afraid I'll F up :lol

I can't believe I'm saying this, but in your pics, the $80 Pred looks better than the $800 warrior maquette :horror

The goal for us was to make this piece look high end and these pics really make it look that way. It really looks nice here for sure.

Congrats on the purchase. Do you plan on customising yours now?

1/4 Queen, please tell me more.:yess:

I won't be working on it until after SDCC, I'm sure, and not until after I find a perfect substitute for the netting because that will have to come off first, but he will get a full body repaint and armor camo. I'll probably tighten up the bones as well.

1/4 Queen is from the original Winston molds for the movie puppet, the same molds used to make the Sideshow 1/4 Queen bust. In fact, the bust portion of the full body kit I have is exactly the same.

Here's some pics of painted 1/4 Queens from elsewhere on this forum.

Cool. I look forward to it. Any ideas what you can use as a substitute for the netting?

You can't make the bio fit on any of the unmasked heads; even the closed mandible version as its mandibles are too far flared out for it to fit over them.
