I'm still on the fence with this one

yea same here going to have to see the movie. I mean its an incredible figure and the hopkins likeness is spot on, but it's the overall character design that is not that appealing. Hope my opinion changes after seeing the movie...
 
You could do that you know and get a better Thor from avengers ..but he will look odd without Thor for a while, Odin is the best of those two figures anyway imo.

For me this figure will display nicely on it's own. I dont feel the need for Thor to accompany him (though i'll probably get him anyway).

I'm just really digging this figure. The fact that it's Anthony Hopkins doesn't hurt either.
 
The more I look at the headsculpt the more impressed I am with the craft of it.

The details (the liver spots, the wrinkles, the color of the irises) are astounding.
 
This looks really great, but until I see the movie, there's no way I'm ordering this or Thor.
