Hemsworth is pretty big lads. Not sure why folks are saying otherwise?

IF this figure really had Hemsworth body shape then we would have no complaints.
The problem here is a big muscle body just won't do. Thor NEEDS to be massive/thick.
I think they casted the wrong actor or they should have beefed up his suit. Just saying...obviously I'm not alone in thinking this.

Yeah! I hear what you are saying but I would assume that if he had the Arnie body say, then folks may not be as vocal. He is super super slim here.
And I completely agree Thor needs to be a big dude!

I always thoughe that the dude who played Bullvai in 13Th Warrior would be perfect for a proper Norse Thor!

Amen. Being a Thor fan for a long time, I can remember thinking that back when 13th Warrior was released. The actor has probably aged too far to play the role now, but that was what I envisioned Thor to look like on the big screen. I'm sure Helmsworth will do a nice job, he just doesn't have the mythical norse quality to him.

Whooaah!

I don't know what the rules are for posting links to other forums, but there's a lot more pictures of Odin.

1 headsculpt and the likeness of Sir Anthony Hopkins is very well done! Closed mouth, however, so you don't get to pose him screaming at his son. :D
Extra wig I assume to fit his helmet, ala Thor.

The helmet doesn't appear to sit too high like the Thor figure

1 gold spear/staff.

7 hands: 1 pair closed/fisted; 1 pair open relaxed; 1 hand closed with thumbs up(so that thumb is pressed against the spear while holding); 1 with hand open; and 1 pointing hand.

:clap

No pictures of the back of the figure, but looking at the cape as it drapes up and over the shoulders, the cape appears to have the artistic creases/folds like Thor's cape.

The helmet and spear are beautiful.

I haven't really had a chance to scrutinize the proportions of the body, but they look very good initially.

What, I never knew anything about Odin. When did these pictures come out & my wallet shrinks some more.

So I was thinking about this figure and how its on the thin side. And from what I gather, this is the wolverine/comedian body which is a great body for figure that are not covered up. So my thought is get this guy and swap out the body for a TrueType. The advanced comes with bigger thighs which will look good on this guy and the pose-ability will be higher. I can increase the arms with a little epoxy putty. Its to bad this guy didn't come with two heads. One with the helmet and one without so we could get two figures out of this set.

This is NOT blah. It's spot on IMHO.
