I think the T800 will stand the test of time better.

:clap

It does look to be a simple classic that will never be repeated again, more akin to the Mark I.

Plus Terminator will go on forever, whereas Iron Man is just a 'thing' today sort of like Spiderman was last decade, doomed to be recycled, reinvented and forgotten.

Very true and since this debate is not the point of this thread I will not go any further with this here but you are talking about character to character. I am going on figure to figure, the MK IV is a more stunning figure IMO. The light up eyes, chest and hands. The armor and the light up stand. It just wowed me more. Sorry, I'm just being honest with how I reacted. Believe me, it's apples and oranges as far as what each figure's purpose is to represent the character. If they would have made the T-800's hand gun have an LED laser scope or have the second sculpt come with the light up eye, maybe my wow factor would have been higher. But I have nothing against the T-800 figure for what it is. I love both for different reasons and I do not regret buying either one, so do not mistaken my comments as being a hater. I am far from that.

Anyone else order from AP Collectibles? I contacted them and they said they are expecting him some time in Fbruary. Are they the last to get him? Or am I waiting on a second shipment?

We're not saying you're a hater, in fact I think you made some very valid points. The Mark IV is a technical masterpiece, a great step up from the Mark III. I was just pointing out that when I look at something that's a little understated like the T800 I know it doesn't have the wow factor of an Iron Man but when something is done well it looks simple. To me this is THE T800, though Uncle Bob gets an honorary mention. :)

:exactly::goodpost:
you can never really pass judgment on HT figs until you actually have them in-hand...pics & vids never do them justice..IMHO

Very true :exactly:. Before getting the T800, I was watching all these video reviews, but none of them looked quite satisfactory. Only when I got it in my hand did I saw how amazing the actual thing was.

HT figures shout quality, you can tell by just touching them. People who have seen HT figures in my house were quite surprised by them, I mean of how terrific they look.

Agreed :exactly:

Iron man is not for me either.
I hate the movies and the figures are just not my kind of thing.

EDIT -
So...................

EDIT 2 -

Very nice. Just a shame for your pics on page 532 that we don't have PERS to play with on this figure. Though I shudder to think what that might have done to his price.
