I'm pretty new to the forum :D and to sideshow collectibles :D been collecting a couple months now.

Today I went to pick my daughter some food at TRU and bump in with a whole stash of this set. I bought myself 2 just for hecks lol. I like them , they look really NICE!!! :) , there were at least 8 but some were kind of weird so try to pick the best! :D

Nice! I know what you mean... I didn't see a single set that had a Pred with non-googly looking eyes.

lol exactly , one thing I wished is that this 2packs were numbered lol I guess I'm asking too much.

Pics as promised.

More of the Pred than the Alien, as it's the new sculpt that everyone is interested in.

.....that custom paintjob someone posted has kinda put a dampener on this one for me. The sculpt is great of course but the paint looks very meh, even what is, by the looks of it, a 'good' one.

Only the 1/4 will quench my thirst for NECA perfection now...

The softgoods, as on 3 3/4" Star Wars figures, just doesn't match up to the plastic parts at all and this problem is magnified on a bigger figure like this. Look at the sculpted folds on the torso compared to the absence of folds on the softgoods, the shine of the plastic compared to the matte black material. And he looks very wide too.

Man - those are some great shots sabres! Really need to track one of these sets down.

I managed to find a set at the Ridgedale, MN TRU, and since the store is closing it was 10% off as well. There was only one set remaining when I left.

I really like the paint job on the predator, it's less glossy than the first open mouth release and the spots look much better. They also changed the color of the plastic used for the elbow joints so it's the same color as the skin.

Called my closest TRU. Zippo.

But in all honesty, I feel the same as a-dev. This 7" P1 is cool, and if I find it, I'll get it. But if not, it won't be too big of a deal. The paint is just a major turn-off and the fact that he lost his love handles and has a completely flat chest makes his upper-body seem way too wonky compared to his legs. Meh...

I might change my tune if I could actually get one and try my hand at customizing whatever I could, but no one around here has any. Sigh...

that still doesn't explain who the hell actually buys Scream collectibles. i'm surprised anyone gives a s#!t how the toy looks.

I think it's one of those cases where you have to be holding the figure in front of you to appreciate its awesomeness.
