I got this for a friend of mine and was there when it was opened today.. total garbage. I have a couple McFarlane Aliens and Predators from years back with better articulation and they are still intact to this day.. this Predator had a broken leg from taking him out of the package.. the Alien's spines were hanging off his back, glue was everywhere.. it's trash. The skulls are nice, but that's about it.

Reading this stuff is making me feel very sick. These figures are being produced in the factory that sucks period. I'm just glad the 19inch Predator has been moved over to a better place but still this is a cool set and no way should these things happen.

The set I got seems fine. No major issues other than that a section of the Predator's hair isn't glued to the head, but that's an easy fix.

the old china factory may have done these things on purpose, since neca is switching onto another factory, they're mad at neca.

You might be right about this. I feel like freaking punching somebody. The 19 inch figure is over at the better place and they better do it justice. We're working it a few things on it and so far it seems to be going well. I will be holding my breath and hoping for the figure I know this thing should be. Funny how our AVPR alien figures seemed to not ever had any of this crap production stuff.

Tankman, do you know if the 3rd series of smaller scaled Predators will be moved to the new factory as well?

Yeah, the AvPR Preds, Aliens, and Predaliens all had great paint apps and none of this 'stuck joint' crap that has plagued your recent figs.

NECA posted on twitter that S3 will be in a different factory. we'll see if they're any better. seems like it's a crapshoot over there.

My girlfriend bought to me the Falconer from Neca. I was lucky I gues because nothing was broken, but to move this thing is a nightmare. The joints are tight and also very fragile. If I would use a little more power for posing the predator they would brake like nothing. Neca really needs to pull themselves together because they quality control sucks hard.

i hope the netting is getting corrected on the 19 inch predator for sure.

I hope the 19" paint job does your fantastic sculpting justice.

Those figures were at another factory than the two pack. I was told series 3 was going to the other factory but I'm not sure now. I would love it too though and hope it does.

NECA said it would be on Twitter. Fingers crossed. This 1/4 release is exactly what the brand needs to bump itself up to the higher-end/quality market. I mean, yes it's a NECA piece, but this has the potential to become the definitive original Predator figure. Who knows? This could even increase sales on future 12" and 18" products, since by then people will be aware that you guys know what you're doing.

Any new teaser pics, though? Maybe of the torso or head? Those gauntlet and shoulder pics are nice, but the proof is in the forehead spotting and chest work.

if not i'm cancelling my series 3.
i'm tired of the slop paint jobs the old factory puts out.
it's a pitiful shame such great sculpts ,get screwed up with such sloppy paint and screwed up stuck joints.
my first tracker had broke tusk, my replacement tracker has 2 right forearms. but the paint was good on it,
the 2 pack, sloppy paint, broke skull belt and bone necklace, a melted looking tip on one blade.
i don't think i will ever order neca figures online anymore never know what your going to get.

Yup. The sloppy paint and stuck joints ruined my excitement at getting those figures. :(

My 'Aliens' figure also had some glue crap on the top of it's head.

The AVP:R figures turned out fine.

Glad NECA is moving to a new factory.

Not to mention the fact that Series 3 includes the second P2 Elder figure ever made, and the first one now sometimes goes for over 1K! For anyone wanting a figure representation of that character, this is their only hope, and it would be one of the year's greatest shames to have such a monumental moment ruined by some old factory's cutting corners. This must be done properly at all costs. FREEDOM! FOREVER!

And I never buy NECA/McFarlane stuff online. Always in-store. This might be an exception with their 1/4 P1, but it's still all the better if I could see that one in person too. More often than not, whenever I go to a store to pick up a NECA figure and choose between the few they have, I always wind up getting the only good one of the bunch. Maybe there's one more left that is slightly more problematic, but usually what stays behind isn't so hot. Like someone said earlier, you pop open a crate and most of the stuff in there has something wrong with it.

I got my 2pak today and its not bad, what do you guys expect for a 30 dollar piece/pieces. looks ok
