Actually I prefered the T1 as well when I saw the pics of the actual fig and proto. However, after placing them side to side, the T2 still outshines the T1.

Could be shades though :lol

Seeing it with the T2 T-800 makes me want it a little bit more. I don't know if I need much more persuading now :lol

OK, thanks bud.
January = :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2 for me.
Im usually very patient but not on this one lol
No probs mate. There is a facebook gadget type thing at the bottom of the OSB site that shows all his updates

But then, I suspect you could pick out T2 Arnold's flaws much more easily than those of T1 ;)
Change the record :lol

didnt they recreate the police shootout scene for T2 so they took photos of the ones shown to Sarah when she eats the paperclip? i thought they showed some behind the scene of them redoing that again?

I applaud them doing that and not just using stills from T1, some films would do that, but when the film's angles are clearly not security cam views, it looks bogus, and there's a lot of low angle shots during the T1 shootout.

goodshipped send me this message today regarding my t-800 order.

"Important Notice!
Delivery delay expected during Xmas session because post offices worldwide are
seriously overloaded
and for some European countries the delivery are much affected by severe weather
(heavy snow / rainfall).
Please be patience and undertanding."

i hate christmas rush

Yeah minimodel, I'm not in the UK, I'm in Jakarta.

That's why I can get it in 3 days time :lol had to use EMS since the seller said if I use other shipping method, I might not get this with the huge traffic of packages during this time of the year.

Btw, I sort of retract a bit of my statement earlier. The jacket of T1 does look quite accurate actuallly. But you need to pull the inner drawstring insidde the jacket, so that it tapers and creates a silhouette of the body.

I'm watching T1 again now, while looking at the figure, futzing it to make it more accurate. The inner drawstring does change the total look of the figure IMO.

Another homerun by HT, well done :clap

Pics :joy

It's hard for me to say what one looks better side by side. They both look amazing. I will say The new T-800 looks exactly like Arnie in the movie, and I'm more of a T1 fan, so I will probably have this one as my new favourite Hot Toys figure. I will reserve final judgment when I get him

Damn. There is actually a working drawstring on it?!?

Immense.

Yeah, I actually noticed that after watching T1 again. The waist area of the jacket is crumpled and bunched up. I noticed that the figure actually has the drawstring to re enact that too!

Also at the very bottom of the jacket, there's another drawstring, which is actually movie accurate (except its black; while its grey in the movie) but can't really figure out what's the use of it.

so rarely did we see the bottoms of T-800 during the first part of the film but now that thing around the left boot looks like one of those chunky ankle bracelets you see divas wearing. does it not draw away attention from rest of the figure?
