:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol Looks like that could be either a crybaby face or a poo face. I suppose either's appropriate. :lol

I don't post in this section often, but I want to go on record as saying this was the single best piece that SS was offering at this year's Con. :clap

It is truly fantastic, the new style of casting makes it so damn lifelike that you will hardly be able to stop staring at it. A major homerun and huge potential for future PFs; those who ordered will NOT be disappointed.

I could be wrong (I was hungover), but I am pretty sure that Brant said that the head that was on display was production ... damn sweet! :thud:

Having both of my grandfathers in WWII (one at Pearl Harbor and the other in the South Pacific), this line just feels right; I hope many jump on board.

They were not all bad though, you ____ing care bear!.

A Nazi policeman saved my old German babysitters life when both her and her sister were about to get shot in the head by a dirty Russian.

Yes, both Axis and Allies had their heroes in the war and war criminals as well.

I think this is a really nice PF and i can't complain at all but, if i were too... i mean ____ sake, where is my Canadian soldier or where are the Aussie's or British soldiers that fought a long side us for most of the war?, hell both wars even.

i am still pissed there has not been any modern Canadian in 1/6. they have done like every country but us.

Thnx! It was one of the best pieces as the show. What they can do with this new style of resin is gonna be sweet.

Ive totally missed any discussions touching on the new casting/painting techniques applied to this piece.
COuld someone please explain further or point me in the direction of the information? .... :monkey1

Production as in that is factory worker applied paint and not applied by SS's proto painters?

looks very nice if its a factory proven consistent result.

So theyve given no other information on the new casting/painting process other than "its new" ?

It's essentially what Hot Toys does with their 1/6 figures (can't speak from experience, I don't have any), but it is a colored resin cast. :yess:

seeing those pics...man, that looks great. i sold off my 12'' wwii army a while back and starting a museum quality pf line like this is very tempting. have they said if this just falls into the sideshow originals line? or will we get more wwii stuff in the originals line? guess it depends on how this one sells?

Yeah maybe, I was told HT - but then again I don't have any of their 1/6 figs.

Anyway, this was probably my most photographed piece at Con:
