Two intersting things to take away from those instructions, first being the endorsement for using styling products on the hair to customize, I was going to do that anyway, but nice to know HT endorses it so there's no worry that it shouldn't be done, and the other is seeing how the magnetics for the bullet hits on her work, looks like a belt with a magnet on it around her waist. I'm still curious how they'll do it for T-1000 since you can put the hits almost anywhere on him.

Do you think they would make the T-1000 body have a metal torso? That would really be cool.

Something odd I saw this morning. Check out the pics on Jeff Parker's Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/album.php?aid=188144&id=58690437343 ....there's a doughnut head there in the making. Does that mean that HT will be making that head with the regular T-1000 ? If so that would make this disguised Sarah Connor obsolete to most people wouldn't it ? I mean a lot of people are getting this release for that head.

Just managed to pre-order this figure along with the t1000 from my ebay dealer, $375 shipped.:)

The instructions are a great thing for them to put up. But I just noticed something. It looks like the melted boots are actually connected to the base permanently. That really kind of sucks since it doesn't give you any wiggle room on her leg pose. I dont' know why HT couldn't have just come up with a way for them to attach.

I can style her hair? Its what I've always wanted! Seriously though thats cool to achieve a realistic steel mill look. Loving this figure more and more, massively aided by the fact I now know I'm definitely getting it.

well teeeechnically it wouldn't make sense for them to look like that on any other surface. haha i kid, it is a little weird and does suck for articulation if that's the case, doesn't bother me too much as I won't be posing her as t-1000 disguised anyway.

that's prob why they included the extra "buildable" base though.

It very well may have been, look at the T-800 black t-shirt being added.

Well, if it were an exclusive of any kind, Sideshow's page would have stated, that's the proof it's now a regular item, there's no exclusivity promoted of any kind.

It'd be cool to know if our ranting here about her being hard to secure was a factor in this change of release.

I prefer it this way, the boots should seemlessly blend, better replicating the effect. Separate, the paint or sculpts might not match.

As of 11:05pm Pacific time, this piece is still available - I ordered my one to have in my collection....this doesnt seem rare - good luck for those flipping this ultra rare limit 2 per person figure!

it's still odd that Razor's offers every single product that went up yesterday except for Sarah

Eric has also kindly reserved 4 Hot Toys SWAT figures for me at request. They're something I've had my eye on a few times only to see them go out of stock while I waited for the best time to order. So this time when they came back in I asked him to hold them for me, without actually having to order them right now, as I have a lot to pay off on my CC at the moment.

I'll be using them in conjunction with the T-800 for the SWAT shootout scene in T2.
Geez, how much did they cost you mate? You could have gone with a cheaper option from Soldier Story, very hot or one of the other Military manufacturers.

Guess it's not your style though - I like it! :hi5:

They'll be expensive enough, perhaps for the best that I got waitlisted for the Guardian Predator. Got any links to these alternatives though? Right I really better go to work.
